Best ego mega atty?
This is a trick question right? :) If it came to the point where I could only buy eGo specific atty's, I would get LR eGo Mega Type-B Tank attys. When they wick properly, they have been the best Ego specific atty's I've used. For dripping, I prefer a LR 510 or LR 306 atty. IMO they are...- Dudeman

Where else is a 7mm - .5 thread used besides these 510 atty's/batteries???
In almost 2 years of vaping I have yet to come across anything that a 510 will screw into. I'm sure you could find a tap and die set online somewhere, probably china, but with atty and battery connectors costing as little as 99 cents, is it worth it?- Dudeman

What did it take for you to put down those last couple cigarettes?
There's no option for "I forgot to smoke". The second day with my 510 I had about 5 cigs. The third day, 1 in the morning and I forgot to grab them on my way to work. Never smoked one again. -

It's the Omega your thinking about. The Alpha takes a 14500 battery. -
3.7 Regulated Options
Is there now some kind circuit board with a regulator in the GLV2? Regulated means it maintains that voltage through the life of the battery. There will be no drop off in voltage as the battery drains.- Dudeman

It wouldn't matter where they put the circuit board. It still would have fried. That's the downfall with these batteries and the exact reason I no longer use them. Humidity in itself is enough to make it hard to breathe. Add your own personal humidifier to the mix and yeah, agreed. -
