    Thats what I'm thinking. I just put the tank upside down and unscrewed the base with the coil. I'm also thinking that I burned the second coil.... Putting in another new coil to see if that taste goes away.

    Congrats on 18months cig free! That is quite the accomplishment and you should be very proud of yourself!! I am on the other end of the spectrum. Been vaping for 12 days and cig free for 3. This has been the easiest 3 days without cigarettes for me ever, by a huge margin.
