    I use just plain old "rite aid" organic cotton. I never boil it either. Although, I just received a huge bag of rayon from a fellow member here and I plan on re-wicking a few RTA's with it this week. I've been hearing a lot of good stuff about rayon.

    Yeah you're gonna choke the wick. The wick swells when it gets wet and then you'll begetting dry hits. You need about half that much cotton. You want to be able to move the cotton back and forth relatively easy when it's dry.

Say if you used 200 grit there go up to 400 grit, then 600 grit and so on until you reach 1200 grit. after you use 1200 grit get a bowl of water and wet your sand paper and then wet sand the device.
