So far I'm liking it less and less. The vapor and flavor are great. But the wick needs to be very saturated for it to work well. Otherwise it tastes just slightly metallic, putting it behind cotton. Effectively, it's too much of a pain for me to keep it soaked. I might have set up something... -

Mine didn't seem to change color of the juice in the bottle. Juice itself is clear sweet strawberry. Wick was not oxidized, I just pulse-burnt it, so the oxidation is minimal. The wick is also not gunked up yet, so there may be no dirt yet to mess with the bottle. -
Recommendation for best new APV
If you still like cartos, get a Reo, put your cartos on it, and you got a 6ml bottle to feed them :) And if you decide that you'd like more flavor and vapor, you can always replace the cartos with a rebuildable. -

No idea :) It was an old wick that I chopped. Inner diameter was a relatively large straightened safety pin. If I had to guess, it was originally a 45mm piece of 400 mesh, since I believe that's what I used in my DUD. -

I know. I am extremely impressed with RM2. The size of the air chamber is perfect. I think Hornet's was too small. I haven't tried a horizontal coil yet. That's on my menu tomorrow. In all honesty, I made the both coils, and started with one that was less likely to work. I figured I will switch to horizontal when this blows up. But it didn't :) -
I'm stumped and need some help.
Not overly familiar with VVG -- how well does it handle SLR coils? -

Sparse micro coil, cotton ball wick. 1.9 ohm -- still lots of vapor and flavor. Wick survived 6ml of juice, and could have gone more, but I felt the urge to try something else. -

The sparse micro coils really don't work for this. I believe Super_X is trying with dense coils. Depending on his results and timing, I'll try tonight too. Can't make a new coil at work :(
