Micro Coil for the RBA on your REO

Oh good god does that taste horrible. Like a dry hit with a side of flooding. Maybe because my coil is sparse. If all the loops are touching, this might still work. Super_X, do you feel like yanking a wick out and trying it?

Micro Coil for the RBA on your REO

I wonder. Since the coils are so small and tight, they hold juice by surface tension. Do we need a wick? If we squonk every hit or every other hit, can we get rid of wicks completely?

    REOMIZER 2.0 Initial Review

Or for something more compact. +5 reading glasses from the dollar store. And a desk lamp. Also, for those that have no experience of reading glasses. Don't try to walk in them without a hard hat :) I learned the hard way

    RM2 Wick & Coil Setups

I'm sure it depends on the person. That's one of the reasons I'm not trying it yet. Not only do I love my big spool of 30ga wire, but I'm also concerned about further loss of digits. I like my digits, I use them for vaping

I completely agree, Brett -- you might be weird :)

Micro Coil for the RBA on your REO

Yay! I got my RM2, put a first coil on (sparse micro coil, 1.7 ohm, cotton ball), it's awesome so far! Vapor, flavor, ease of setup are great. With the white ceramic floor, I can see into it great just by taking the drip tip out. The hole lined up kinda crappy -- 90 degrees before where I'd...

Micro Coil for the RBA on your REO

You need to coil them like that. If you coil them loose, you won't be able to squeeze them together to make them stay like that. Oh oh, challenge for Drifter! two resistance wires, in parallel, to make one big coil :) I'll have to try that tonight

NYC Council proposal would raise legal minimum tobacco sales age from 18 to 21

This is really sad. The two things are not related and should not affect one another, but I see your point. As little sense as it makes to raise the age restriction, I'd rather have that than the flavor ban :(

Why are SS mesh wicks getting populars

That would be an interesting experiment. From my understanding, the wick would end up being too long and too thin to stay wet. But I've been known to be wrong on a rare occasion. Minor things, like Cold War, for example :)

Why are SS mesh wicks getting populars

Hard to compare, Clyde. It definitely tastes different than both. Better than silica, supposedly healthier, and still burn-proof, which is what I was going for. Flavor quality is comparable to cotton, but different -- I can't quite explain it. Tastes like my early, not overly successful genesis...

Why are SS mesh wicks getting populars

Sorry, don't have a better picture yet -- it's full of new delicious juice, so I don't really want to take it apart. One end of the wick sits on the deck, touching the wall of the atomizer. That's where the juice pools up. Wick is very oxidized (used in a previous project). Resistance wire is...

what are some bottom fed RBAs?

That is a renamed A7. Too lazy to convert prices from the site where it's listed. I believe in the US it sells for $15-$25. I like A7, have a few, but not sure it will fit this mod though :(

what are some bottom fed RBAs?

That is an interesting form factor. Can you post a picture without the extention? So far it looks like your only options for rebuildables for it are Mc Arb and Killer 705

Micro Coil for the RBA on your REO

From my understanding, Kanthal A-1 is actually safer. Its operating temperature is higher than than of Kanthal D, 1400C vs 1300C. Both are a LOT higher than they need to be. NiChrome, for example is 1150C, but it's still very usable. If I understand correctly, NiChrome is what Cisco and HH357...

How does a bottom feeder work? I'm intrigued.

It's effectlively same as dripping, except you drip from the bottom instead of top. Just as with dripping, you can use atomizers, cartomizers, and rebuildables. Just have to make sure they're not sealed on the bottom. Unlike dripping, bottom feeders does not require both hands and much...

Pulling the trigger, but which one?

Reos work very well with rebuildables, and are amazingly sturdy. VMod is cheap, both price and quality. With a bit of fiddling, you can fix the "tip to feed" thing, and put rebuildables on it. Rebuildables might be prone to leaking on it. Bogger is made out of wood. Very pretty, but not as...

what are some bottom fed RBAs?

Reomizer 2 is about the best you can get, and not overly expensive. No idea what that bottom feeder is though, so not sure if it will fit.

Micro Coil for the RBA on your REO

Interestingly, touching coils does not reduce resistance. Try metering your touching coil and then pulling it apart -- it'll be the same resistance :) I wonder if the magic happens when the coils are close enough to hold juice between themselves by virtue of surface tension?

Why are SS mesh wicks getting populars

You should be able to dry burn the mesh, that'll burn any flavors out of them
