Thank you, Thrasher. That actually helped. The tube was a bit crooked after I glued it into the top cap. I flipped the tank upside down to see what is going on, and managed to straighten it out with some pliers. Works like a charm now, even with the steel tank. Incidentally, steel tank's...- Commie

Taifun problem :(
When I refill mine, as I twist the base with atomizer into the tank, the chimney tube grabs onto the atomizer cap, and turns it, together with the atomizer body. That pulls my lovingly arranged wicks out of the holes, and it floods immediately. Have any of you found a way to deal with that...- Commie

Fixing/improving Taifun clone
Hi there! So I have a Taifun GT clone, and love the vapor from it. One issue with it though. When I unscrew the tank, at the bottom as I'm supposed to, the chimney tube comes off the tank and stays on the atomizer chamber. Thus, dumps the leftover juice into my unsuspecting lap. Very strange, doesn't seem to work for me. I took a chunk of wire that came with it, folded twice (so there are 4 parallel strands), and stuck in the airhole (not the AFC screw hole). Sounds exactly the same as before :( Any other ideas? Frustratingly, the Taifun clone is completely silent...- Commie

It's press-fit. Pliers, or (if there's a slot in the bottom) screwdriver should do it. I used to just stick a syringe needle through the wire hole and turn it. -

That just means you can't post with price more than 20% higher of the vendor price. So you can't charge more than 172.80 for a mechanical Reo. -

If you do decide to sand it, don't use anything more coarse than 150ish grit. I did while sanding my Mini's door, and can't get the scratches out to this day :( -

I ran 1.5 to 2 ohm coils, 30 and 28 gauge, horizontal and vertical, cotton ball, cotton yarn, silica, and mesh. It must be me. I didn't like any of them. -
