The button head is indeed 10mm and the contact pin end of the assembly is 5mm. Even if you don't find a lot of use for metric sets of that size, going to a hardware store that sells individual sockets and picking up a 10mm and a 5mm is a good investment if you are going to be using your GGTS or... -

Just a suggestion but another thing I would do is to visually check and see that the button pin is making contact with the bottom cap axis. Just take your bottom tube off separate from the rest of your GGTS. Be sure to leave the bottom cap and button in place. If you look into the top of the... -

Not to confuse things anymore but... THe 2011 buttons like what were on the last shipment of SS GGTS do fit. The last couple of orders of Stealth had the 2012 style button they do not fit with. You can tell which button your piece has fairly easily. The current 2012 button they do not fit with...
