1/16 ID is ideal for 2mm RxW. You can use 5/64 ID with heavy VG liquid. 7/64 ID is best for 3mm and 1/18th ID can be used with heavy VG liquid. -

My only remaining concern is what am I supposed to do with the black bits/coils gunkies? If I am literally just dry burning when the flavor seems off, wouldn't I want to rinse the atty just to clean off the black bits etc? Or...will torching it inside my Odin take care of that? -

Guess I'll have re-learn how to dry burn something. I am just afraid that with using 3mm, I'll wick it, I'll dry burn it, it'll get black and flavor will be off. I then need to take it out and torch it and then if I take it out, it's going to fall apart on me and fray etc. -

Thanks everyone! I really prefer the larger diameter 3mm, so just to re-cap...I need to review the correct snipping angle and when I do dry burn it, I need to pulse for 1-2 seconds then blow and continue. Would rinsing the coils/atty/RxW in water after dry burning be a bad idea? I'd then have... -

How do you guys take care of this stuff? I've gone through my combo pack already. I had the 3mm RxW in dual 7/64 26G coils and it started to taste weird after a day. I rinsed it and dry burned the coil with the RxW still inside. One of my coils was glowing and the other was not at all, the RxW... -

ReadyxWick - Try it and don't look back
If you haven't heard of it, go to rbasupplies.com and check it out. Comes in 2mm and 3mm sizes. The 2mm is best for 1/16th ID coils but 5/64th ID coils can be used if using high VG liquid. The 3mm is best for 7/64th ID coils but the 1/8th can be used if using high VG liquid. I've been using...- tmel

Newbie & Proud of My Coil Build!
Looks good! If you're going to use that much cotton, use 2 coils. :) I would add 2 wraps and go dual coil. The IGO-W is great for dual coils, stock air holes are not good. Get them to at least 1/16th.- tmel

Thanks everyone. I tried 24G around 1/8th bit and got the 3mm in. Got 28G around a 1/16th bit and got the 2mm in. I'll try a 3/32 ID for the 3mm, seems tough to get it into a micro coil though. The 3mm seems too beefy for my Odin and the 2mm seems too small. I did a 1/16th coil with 26G and it...
