    I don't know if this actually made it loosen or not but I was just having the same problem so I notice the flat head screw indent in it, unscrewed it a little bit, like one turn... put the carto back on a lil tight but not too tight, unscrewed the carto and off came the adapter with the carto

    They have 510 cartos, but Waffle says they aren't very good. The adapter can be found on thagbuilt for 6 dollars which includes shipping. :)

    So I'm guessing you are using 6v with a regular atty? I tried that the first day and short bursts helped, however, I burned out an atty real quick. I ordered cartos and am using that and don't have that problem.
