What I'm most affraid of is that the Mini will become to hot. It becomes allready very hot like it is..really have to put it down from time to time. Doesn't it get hotter when the wick is thicker?

It is! As an artist you either choose for fame and getting rich after you die or having fun exploring new perspectives that others can inspire to do the bigger things. I choose the last and like it :toast:

About 6 weeks this time. Going on a landart trip. Making art with whatever you find avalable in nature, pictures with stones, replanting young trees in odd places You know, that sort of things :laugh: Real fun and inspiring thing to do and it turns peoples faces into smilies when they find...

I don't know if you win with the brass post, because that will take more cleaning-care whilst it is in contact with the juice and tarnish faster. I ordered the brass contacts for the Poldi as spares. But when I'm on the road, I don't want the sudden need for cleaning, so I changed the contacts...

Difficult to say because I don't have a sub-1-ohm coil yet. To me it hits the same, but may be if you would messure it there could be a difference. But this is now completely brass, even the contacts. So there is sure a difference in cleaning :)

Don worry, she'll be OK Jim knows these things can happen, as do we all... We all love MMV and our DID's and Poldi's, but in the end there are much more important things in life. I think the reason we appreciate Jim so much because he is this down to earth, he knows... We know and Miriam knows...
