If it melted the wire rather than welded it's too much of a charge, if there is any way you can charge the cap with less electricity you can dial it in the same way we use flash circuits.
Sounds like the tobacco you are using for extract, real pipe tobacco extracts gunk up within about 12 hours but morebrown cigar tobaccos gunk up less so
If vapor production is lower try smaller gauge kanthal/nichrome. I don't use anything lower than 33 awg kanthal for that reason and I get fog machines every time.
Glad to see you had great results. Out of all the methods of extraction, the 4 second microwave shot glass method makes the best results i have tried. The traditional method before was a 2 week cold steep, which does work well but it takes 2 weeks and doesn't seem quite as flavorful as the shot...
I have had the best results with clearomizers for cotton. Something about the air flow design and close juice contact just seems to make clearomizers perfect for cotton. The vivi mini nova is still my favorite, just perfect clean no burn/singe problems. Gennys and other designs do work well with...
Nice clear construction. I know what you mean with space, it's really tricky to pack 2 batteries in with the lm without making a monster box and still being able to get to the pot and read the voltmeter.
I have an extra LM with volt meter I have been thinking about making a passthrough...
Also if someone is thinking about trying the spin-e method don't try haveing wick inside and outside. It cools down too much, either go conventional inside or unconventional outside wicking.
I ust noticed something I have never made known that is crucial for the spin-e to work. Make sure the coil is pointed down, gravity on the juice keeps everything wet (air intake as well).
Yeah anyone uing hardware parts, make sure you torch them because a lot of them have coatings or enamels that aren't healthy. I would say automotive would be galvanized, just a guess.
Oh yeah, one of the best I have made was a heaven cigar (dominican republic) with some carmel, brown sugar, and a little vanilla. I have yet to try some bulk leaf which I really want to try.
That all depends on what you concider a good cigar. There are some top notch cigars from the dominican republic about 10 times cheaper that have been the best I have had. Sounds like you know what you like, which is a great reccomendation for picking something you definitely love. You are right...
Yeah cotton in my drunker is real hit and miss. I've been pondering on modding the air flow because I know that's where my problem is. Cotton is really finicky in what devices work well with it. So far I haven't been able to beat the rounds in my mini vivi novas with nr-wire welded legs. I love...
Just make sure you use a cigar you really like. Try a cheaper dominican cigar if you can find one, the best cigars to me come from the dominican republic. Light brown cigars are better because they haven'y been fermented as much as darker ones. A long fermentation of dark tobaccos can really...
If you squeeze out as much water as you can it will dry really quick, even quicker space apart on a plate. I look forward to your reports after building.
Definitely boil the cotton, the clean taste is worth it even if you're not worried about processing chemicals. Also try rolling the cotton into a uniform wick. Roll it between your fingers until somewhat shaped, then hold your hand flat and roll out the kinks until uniform. I reccommend trying...
