Bottomfed dripper for me, it's what I use for out and about every day. Never more juice in the dripper than the wicks will hold, so practically leak free, and with lots of juice ready to be fed to the wicks.
Welcome to ecf :)
Most of the flavourings used in e-liquids are not specifically developed for that purpose, so it is not unlikely that you have tasted the same flavour before.
When diy-ing your own liquid there are many brands of flavourings to choose from, and some of them (like Lorann) are...
Not sure which one of those is supposed to be the harder hitting mod really.
Do you have a digital multi meter?
You could measure the voltage drop with that to have actual numbers to go by as to which one gives the most voltage to the atomizer.
I have done something similar, with giving away a starter kit to a few people I wouldn't expect to want to do the research for themselves - I just said they should try it out for a while and if they don't like it to give it back, and if they do like it to give me enough money for it to get...
Have you joined 'the ihybrid group' on facebook?
I've seen some talk there about it, supposedly it should be out within a week or two, along with other new items.
Getting a reply from a personal msg to faceless can be a bit of a long shot i guess.
The provari doesn't have airslot cuts in the top cap, so some devices that draws the air through the 510 connection doesn't work too well on it. There are some 3rd party extensions for the provari, like the "hippo" which solves this problem, although making the provari a tad taller.
Are you using silica wicks? I torch my silica until it glows white before I do my rebuilds on anything, seems to shorten the break in time of a new setup.
Allright, after a 14 day shipping I've finally received my mcm dna20. This thing is really nice, running a kayfun at 14 watts right now and I like that I can give it more power if I want. Craftsmanship is really good on this thing too, well done Matt. A personal change I would have done is a...
Just looked at both of mine, and the ball bearing is wet on both. Never leaks out of there though. I dry it out with some paper towel after filling too.
Have you used pluid or other such juices in there? I found that after 2 tanks of pluid the top cap o-ring had swollen to the point of not fitting anymore..
I don't have a big supply of o-rings, so I choose what juices I use in it a bit more carefully now.
I thought it was included to just be a filling bottle. The plastic tip that fits the kayfun filling valve is the important part, but they include a bottle with a luer lock cap too, incase people don't have a syringe or bottle cap to use it with. These are my assumptions anyway.
You are not making my wait any easier with all this praise, mine COULD arrive today, but more likely early next week. Good to hear people are happy with them though :)
Do any of you have the semovar yet? I'm interested in making a kayfun hybrid, but it seems the mech switch for the semovar is not available yet.
Was thinking that maybe the threads on the tubes are standard enough that maybe the switch from one of my other 22mm mods could fit.
I do a 4 wrap of 30g on a double 3mm silica, usually end up around 1.1-1.3 ohms.
I usually go a little lower than that on gennies, but I seem to like this setup on the kayfun.
Melted insulators could also be caused by poor wicking causing excess heat, not necessarily the low ohm coil by itself...
