The fuse can go on either side of the battery (+ or -). I don't think it matters how you put it in there at all. For a Kick, it is different but a fuse can go however you feel like putting it.

Yup, jrod is on point. All K100 and K100+/K101 come with a 2cent fuse now. You can put on the + or - end of the battery; it makes no difference. It's worth putting it in; it's a very effective safety measure.
