    Its not really the 510 body, but the center pin is what I'm worried about. If it get too hot it can melt through the delrin insulator and be a dead short.

    I got a design for a 2k box using saddle LiPo batteries. Only problem is that I don't believe the Fat Daddy v3 or v4 510 connector can hold that kind of power. I may be looking for a different insulator for the 510 that has higher heat tolerance than Delrin.

    Another issue that I encountered was that the DC power port grounds to case of connector when plug is inserted. This is pretty disappointing since I am working with 2 different circuits. Time to search for another 2.1mm isolated power port.

    If you are unregulated 2 Amps * 4.2 Volts = 8.4 Watts therefore 2.1 ohms would be the minimum build unless you exceed the rating of the switch

    Why don't you try to make a 26650 box Battery Tray - 1x26650 Battery Sled These are some nice battery holders. Get a fat daddy 510, a good switch, you could also add a charger in there.

    Thanks, I actually had to redo most of the wiring to get the additional mosfets into the box. But I sorta like how it came out.
