Preferred microcoil ohm for Kayfun and itaste SVD

I use similar builds. 2.5 - 3 ohm vertical with 30-32 gage, 1/16 diameter. I prefer the 32 gage 3 ohm. Pack the whole chamber with cotton for no leakage, ever. Adequate vapor and flavor, even at less than 4 Volts on the SVD. It's no cloud maker but great for nicotine delivery.

    SVD Button issues

I posted an SVD button fix here. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecigarette-technical-issues/576641-itaste-svd-button-fix.html Takes a little mechanical ability, a drill, a file, and a nylon cap nut.

    nemisis clone mods pros/cons

I got the FT $25 one and it's fine. Switch pin kept coming undone increasing the travel. Switch is a little wobbly which made it a pain with more travel. Tightened the pin with pliers and it's fine now though not a precision fit. (still slight wobble) To adjust the top screw, remove the top...

Wheezing and tightness of the lungs

High VG does that to me too. Not cleaning and dry burning regularly (or replacing heads) OR too high of setting causes irritation. I use high PG and know I've waited too long when it makes me sneeze. Wait any longer and I'll get an irritated throat, lungs will feel bad when I wake up, ect...

How many ml e juice per pack of cigarettes?

It's impossible to scientifically say for sure because there's too many variables. However, I think it's a safe assumption that you'll have comparable methods/habits with an e-cig that you did with cigarettes. My observation based on satisfaction: 3mg of vaped nic. ~= 1 full flavor cigarette so...

don't throw away tour iTaste SVD! fire button fix!

Since OP didn't deliver, I'll just leave this here for anyone still following this thread. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecigarette-technical-issues/576641-itaste-svd-button-fix.html

    iTaste SVD button fix!

If the button sticks out too far for you, you could shorten it by removing some material from the bottom of the nut first (hex part). Myself, I like it sticking out that far because it can even be pressed sideways. Hope it works for you too. I really like this thing now.:vapor:

    iTaste SVD button fix!

Put the screw into a drill. With the drill running slow, cut off the head with a hacksaw and file a small 45 degree angle on the end to remove thread burrs. Put the cap nut on and file it down to fit in the SVD switch ring. Leave a step on the bottom similar to the original button...

    iTaste SVD button fix!

I really like the SVD except for the fire button that has to be pressed hard a certain way or it misfires or turns off. Other than that big issue, it's a great mod. It just doesn't stick out far enough. A rubber band and pencil eraser was even some improvement. Here's how to make a...

New to mods, decided on a Wii remote. All help is appreciated!

This is a fairly slow forum. There's a thread about tutorials stickied that may help. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/27135-tutorial-thread-links.html

    Now I feel stupid

OP specifically stated "I am an eBay buyer exclusively, its just a trust thing". Perhaps you should actually read the thread before sales pitch.

    Now I feel stupid

Dry burning weekly can really extend the life of those CE4's. It burns off the gunk and restores it to near new performance. You can do this many times until the wick becomes clogged. Just search youtube for "CE4 dry burn". It's even easier with a CE5 that you can disassemble.

    stll trying to quit analogs

From my observation, it takes about 3mg of vaped nicotine to equal 1 full flavor cigarette, so you'd have to vape a half ml of 6mg to get what you would from one cigarette. Vaping also doesn't give you that instant satisfaction that a cig does because it lacks the additional chemicals to speed...

    DNA 30 reverse battery protection.

The diode would drop voltage. If it drops 0.7 Volts, the DNA would "think" that the battery is empty when it's at ~3.9V. A diode will always drop voltage, even with little/no current, unlike a resistor where drop is proportional to current.

Professional / Semi professional Modders will go "BYE-BYE"

The vaping community? No, I don't think so, it's a bad thing overall. We would benefit from some regulation if the FDA only served the people. I don't believe that's the case because the government really no longer responds to the will of the people. I do think that the Big Vaping players like...

    Heavy chest

High VG made me feel that way. Switched to 30% VG and it went away. Recently tried using higher VG again and found that anything over 40% VG still gives me that feeling.

Professional / Semi professional Modders will go "BYE-BYE"

The big players in the vaping industry could actually benefit from this. Small shops go out of business and FDA approval will give them more credibility. They have a few main products and $2800 is a drop in the bucket for each. $2800 could easily be recovered by the additional sale of a mere 60...
