FWIW I'm on the full site on my computer and it took me a few to realize where the search bar was(too much white). I hate this new site.
Things don't work right half the time. When I hit the view first unread button, half the time it doesn't work correctly for me. It likes to take me a couple...
You're welcome.
Sometimes one gets lucky and a genny will run as you describe, but it's rare IMO.
In order for liquid to flow out of the tank properly, air must flow in to equalize the pressure. When the wick hole is filled too much and the fill hole blocked, it makes it much more difficult...
Yes wick must be smaller than the deck hole, otherwise you will get a pressure lock and liquid won't flow.
Running it without another hole open(fill hole, breather hole) will most likely always result in a pressure lock as well.
With a genny, when you lay it on it's side, if liquid isn't...
The cigalikes are the way to people's pocketbook though. Big tobacco wants you spending the same amount per day, which is between 1&2 packs a day for their typical cigarette user.
For that reason do you ever think they will release a device you could fill with your own liquid? Most likely no...
RJ Reynolds has been in the game for a bit, they are the ones that brought us the horrible Vuse cigalike.
I wouldn't even use the Vuse if it was my only option, I would just go without. IMO, it is terrible enough that I won't even use the coupons for free vuse and refill carts they keep...
Question for those with plenty of experience with Orange Sweet.
Since it is actually an oil, does it require any special treatment to keep from separating in the mix, such as mixing into PGA first?
It could still be a rayon density issue, I'm not ruling that out.
Like I said though, the insulators in those heads can't handle the heat from dry burning, which is why I jumped to that right away. All I am doing is sharing my experience on the subject.
It is most likely because you dry burned the coil.
When you did that, the legs of the coil got really hot as well and began to melt/burn the insulator.
That taste will lessen over time, but it will never go away until you replace the insulator IMO.
If you are using the OCC coils, and not the...
All of your concerns have been answered over and over again in this very thread. Give it a full read, there's lots of useful knowledge to be had.
Most of the very chemicals used to make rayon are used in the processing of most cotton as well.
The chemicals are fully removed from the rayon...
That sucks for sure. I am willing to bet they will make it right though.
Any package I receive worth more than a few bucks gets opened on video. I am paranoid about having proof if something should happen to be wrong, or missing entirely.
I make sure the camera gets a clear shot of any...
It probably makes it a little stiffer. It hasn't affected my temp control at all though.
I run my TI coils around 330F. At that setting, for me, it just begins to ever so slightly give the rayon just a tiny hint of yellowing if fired completely dry. I will never get a burnt hit at that setting...
Just a tip for everyone regarding TI wire.
If you dryburn it will form titanium dioxide, that's a given.
This doesn't mean you can't dryburn though.
When dryburning, while the coil is glowing, quickly quench it in water and all the titanium dioxide will pop right off the coil and into the...
Do this test for me. No battery, you are just going to use the top portion of the mod
Screw a rebuildable atomizer onto the device and take the top cap off the atomizer. It doesn't matter if it has a coil installed or not.
Set your multimeter to the resistance(ohm symbol) setting of 200
Touch...
There's no decimal because you are using the 2000 setting on resistance, if you want the decimal in the correct place you have to use the 200 setting not the 2000
Again, 200 is the correct setting.
I had the same problem with cheap harbor freight meters.
If you take some fine sand paper to the probes, and sand the surface layer off them they will work much better. You will need to sand corrosion off them every couple months as it builds back up.
Their meters are crap. You can usually get...
