So the Lavatube 3 was officially released today by Volcano. So I made a trip to my local Volcano Vape Lounge and picked one up to give it a try... I haven't tried a DNA40 Temp Control device, only the SXmini M Class First impressions The packaging is well done. Looks like something you'd see... -
From Provari to Sub-Ohm
Always good to have some variety! I have an SXmini M Class that I adore, it's great... And I thought it would take the place of my ProVari lineup, but I've found that for whatever reason my Kayfuns don't perform as well on the SXmini as they do on my Provari P3. I can't explain it... I gotcha, so the only test equipment you've used so far is just the infinite mod? You had mentioned not having test equipment that could measure the temps accurately so I was a bit confused how you came up with the results. Makes better sense now... -

Just trying to get a better handle on what they are measuring with the 1-100 scale of the Nickel Purity adjustment. It is obviously adjusting the TCR slopes the mod is using to determine temperature, but has anyone done the calculations to measure what TCR each number in their scale represents... -

If you had told me a year ago that over the next year Evolv is going to be partnering with Innoken and Volcano to make mods with custom screens, I probably wouldn't have believed it either. But, TBH, I am less surprised by this partnership than I was about their relationship with Innoken. -

Just got word back from Steve at Evolv that the Lavatube 3 is indeed using an authentic DNA-40 board with a custom screen that was designed just for Volcano. That's a good thing! Now we wait for the price... I actually never had an issue with the Lavatube 2 / 2.5 being a bit fat. I'm just glad... -
