    They must have cinnamon in it, but I can't taste it. It's a great flavor but does etch plastic tanks. I used Nature's Flavors Organic Brown Sugar Coffee and Tea Flavoring without diacetyl.

    I guess I'm not having too many problems then! I'm getting liquid dripping out before it's full, but probably because I use a syringe to fill, maybe it's too much pressure. I'll try filling by just dripping into the fill hole.

    Thanks! I'll give this a go. I did everything as you say except for measuring the cotton better. Yup, and that's exactly what happened with bottom filling. I also got liquid dripping out the dip tube when filling from the bottom screw. Is that normal?

    I use NF exclusively. They don't add diacetyl, but it does exist naturally in some flavors- probably the cream and butter flavors. I've found that those flavors destroy cartos anyway so I don't use them much.

    It's much easier to wash off that extra protein than it is to wash off pesticides. Whether you buy organic or conventional, you should always wash produce. Yes, these practices were put into place to increase profit.

    Yes, and I did follow up on some of the links I found. There was very little beyond "we don't know what these organic pesticides do yet." I was already aware of several methods, such as neem but not aware of some of the others. I see far, far less evidence of the dangers of organic pesticides...
