    Can I still cape with a cracked tank

    Is it an issue to replace the tubes? I have a few RBAs, and I'm always getting replacement tubes because they tend to degrade regardless of which juice I use. I've never had a problem vaping a fractured tube, as long as it doesn't leak, but I'd replace it for peace of mind:)

    having trouble with building my wicks

    Have you tried nudging the coil with a blunt tip needle while pulsing? When you pulse, you get an idea of where the hot spots are and can move the coil a bit til they go away. Sometimes when I think my coil is perfect I still have to do this.
