I fell in on this thread early in MY vaping career and I haven't looked back. I'm still on CVS rolled cotton and 28ga in a dual coil RM2 setup. So far so good for me. I'll leave the crazy exotic stuff for you experimenters.
I currently have an RM2 with a dual coil setup so the air holes are perpendicular to the the button. It really doesn't matter which hand I fire with. I often use my left while driving and my right most of the other time.
I'm not sure what stock actually was.
I don't think it was the restriction that bothered me much.
It was more the burned juice that was a turn off.
I could start out with a super light juice in the morning and it would look like a banana nut bread in the afternoon.
Take my vote with a grain of salt, but the RM2 has been good in both single coil and dual coil to me. I don't have a 100$ to spend on a cyclone or it's equivalent. But, I don't think I need it.
I don't want to sound like an alarmist. But, this go around I've prepped for the worst.
I've got enough supplies on hand to last for a few years at least.
I've been on a dual coil RM2 since this morning. It performs quite well for me. Vapor and TH is on par with a .7 ohm single coil. (my experience) and flavor is way better.
I got bored and didn't want to tear apart the setup on my RM2. It's just too good right now. So I did this Evod head instead. 32ga 2.8 ohm. Really nice on a VV device. Hasn't leaked yet but the evod heads never did until a few days anyway. We'll see.
