Since brass is a softer metal, I would be careful with a drill based tool. do it by hand VERY lightly with scotchbrite or steel wool. Remember, slow and steady wins the race. be SUPER careful.

The vent hole doesn't always line up and yes, it is normal. I have... um... a "few" (19) Nemesis devices - some have the hole lined up, others don't. As long as you purchased it direct or from an authorized reseller (or from a trusted source), nothing to worry about.

you'll like it. Personally, I like the Anima on the Nemi mostly because of its size and performance - it honestly performs really well for a dripper (nevermind the size of it). It also looks really really good.
