    Joye Exceed X questions

Hi all, Finally got the girlfriend off the cigs with a Juul but since they went to court to stop other companies from knocking off their pods the choices are diminishing and Juul pricing is absurd. I mix my own juice, so I've been looking at Joye's Exceed X as a potential replacement. The size...

    THE ASPIRE BREEZE AIO KIT

1000 mah battery, Removeable / Refillable "pod" 3 ml standard and 2 ml available, airflow adjustment, improved? drip tip cover, no mention if the charging dock for the original Breeze will work on this one. I don't see the contacts on the bottom so probably not, Comes with 2 atomizers 1 is .6...

    THE ASPIRE BREEZE AIO KIT

Yikes! Either corrosion or the metal (nickel?) plating is coming off. That can't be good inhaling metal into your lungs. I'll be on the lookout for that. Any mention of the juice they were using? Maybe only certain ones like those infamous tank crackers would do that. I have a few coils I'm...

    THE ASPIRE BREEZE AIO KIT

Has anyone had any success with cleaning the coils by boiling then drying in a warm oven or any other method? I'm liking the Breeze a lot, especially as an out and about device but 3 or 4 days lifespan on the coils is sort of a downer.

    Nic PH Balancing Experiment

Sorry for leaving anyone following this hanging. My mom went in the hospital the day I started this and went downhill fast. She passed a few days later. Anyway, I mixed up a sample to vape at 20 mg/ml nic strength. I'm used to 12 mg/ml. I have to say the 20 is not harsh at all so may be on to...

Failing miserably at DIY and smoking instead. E cig too harsh.

Try lowering your coils. A little bit can make a big difference. I set mine high because I read you get better flavor that way but couldn't vape without coughing. Lowered the coils maybe 1/8" and much much better. I use a malic acid solution to balance the ph. Citric acid degrades the nicotine...

    Nic PH Balancing Experiment

Nope, just an initial wrong assumption on my part that when they (nic supplier) said 6 grams that they meant by weight, so I assumed powder. Most likely they used 6 grams liquid or 6 ml pure liquid nic. That would be 6000 mg of nic diluted in 100 ml of carrier (VG) gives you 60 mg/ml

    Nic PH Balancing Experiment

I used Malic Acid powder to make my solution, purchased from a local wine making supply shop, so no worries there. That's the only powder I'm using. What I assumed was a dry weight reference of 6 grams in that vendor nic recipe was probably a shorter way of saying they added 6000 mg of pure...

    Nic PH Balancing Experiment

Not sure how accurate these are. All I could find today were aquarium water test strips but they do seem to show some success in lowering the PH. Original untreated base on far right is at or over 8 while the flavored test sample and acid treated base mixes ( 2 on far left) are in the low 6's...

    Nic PH Balancing Experiment

Hi all, I've got a little experiment going and would appreciate any feedback from any of you guys n gals that are better schooled than I am with the chemistry behind this. I'm not sure whether this is simply a ph balance, creation of nic salts, or both. First a little background. Been vaping...

Horrible lasting lung burning feeling from aspire breeze.

Not sure what they were thinking. The Breeze initially offered only the .6 ohm coil. A charged battery at 4.2 volts yields almost 30 watts which is waaay too hot for a small device with limited airflow. I ordered a pack of 1.2 coils with mine. On my second tank and very satisfied with the vape.

    Throat hit and harshness reduction

A hot leg on your coil or a coil stuffed too tight with wick can cause harshness. Too much wick chokes the flow of juice and gives you semi-dry hits which can be harsh.

Istick 30W vs 50W at same wattage setting

Thank you for confirming my expectations. Now it's not just my word against theirs.

Istick 30W vs 50W at same wattage setting

After some more fiddling I can report that I have to run my 50W istick up to over 40 watts before I get a vape comparable the the 30W istick set to 16 watts. I have a Vamo v2 that can be set to either average (mean) voltage or RMS (root mean square) voltage so I am familiar with the difference...

Istick 30W vs 50W at same wattage setting

Dang it. As the title stated, comparing the 50 to the 30, not the 20. I did the same thing in my e-mail to the vendor  I only intended to mention the 20W once regarding comments others saying it ran hot and that changed with the 30. That leads me to assume the 30 and 50 should be no...

Istick 30W vs 50W at same wattage setting

Has anyone compared the same topper on both the 30W and 50W at the same wattage and found the 50W produces a weaker vape? I just got my 50 and I have to run 35+ watts to get the same vapor and throat hit I get on the 30 at 18 watts. I pulled the wick and dry burned the coil on both. The 50...

    Protank MicroCoil Discussion!!

Hey Mac, I just got some in today, the AGA silicone ones from Kidney Puncher and yeah they do fit a bit snug and I haven't tried one yet with coil wires. Without the wires it was a challenge to pack it in there but they fit. They are quite squishy which increases the challenge. I can see the...

    Protank MicroCoil Discussion!!

"Like I said.... as above, how in the hell do you prevent burning the insulator and if done, are they as of yet replaceable? " These are not specifically for Protank heads but a lot of people have used them for that purpose. AGA Series Positive Post Insulators - 10 pack - Kidney Puncher
