CKCalmer, venture out to Columbus and you'll find at least 15 shops in the area. Light day yesterday. 25' 39ga kanthal for my Kayfun builds and an Hcigar Helios clone.
Both Ehpro and Hcigar make good quality clones. I have 3 Ehpro's and 1 Hcigar. All work flawlessly. Had the leaking problem when I got my first one. Did the air hole cover fill method and not a drop since. By far my favorite tanks.
Certain citrus juices and some cinnamons react with plastic tanks making them crack. There's a thread that lists a bunch of them. Search Tank Crackers. That should get you there.
Kinda hard to figure which is primary and what is backup . Have a DB Modz/Kayfun, Provari/Taifun GS and a Reo Grand that I rotate through during the day. I guess you could say my trusty Smok Winder is my final line of defense.
Have an EHPRO KFL+ that I use on my DB Modz DNA 20. 6 wraps of 30ga around doubled 2mm silica gives me 1.34ohm. This has been in for almost a month. Still great flavor. Also works great on my Provari.
Work in a Government Vehicle Maintenance shop. Haven't found any Army regs against it and my supervisor doesn't mind. So I vape wherever I'm using my computer to use manuals, order parts or do paperwork. Have no partner in my bay which is the size of an average two car garage. Tho, I keep vapor...
Another for the Kayfun Lite+. I top fill mine. Cover the air hole, put the top on slightly, turn over, screw top the rest of the way and release the air hole. Another good one is the Taifun. Flavor is comparable to the Kayfun but, you can rewick without disturbing the juice n
A little update on this one as the Vaping Community in Columbus has grown since my OP.
In addition to the above shops there are these:
Bucky's Bargain Vaping currently on Warm Springs Rd moving to Armour Rd on May 1.
Rivertown Vapor behind USAA on Veterans.
VapeTech in Peachtree Mall
Vapor Head...
Welcome to ECF from a former Kentuckian. (ETown actually) There are a few shops in your area. One I know of is on Fern Valley in Fern Creek. They have shops in Bardstown and ETown.
Another good solid alternative is a Reo w/an RM2. Solid, almost bullet proof device. Allows dripping type flavor w/o the mess. Of course make sure you keep enough charged batts with you if your outside the wire for any length of time.
