With a lot of the sub-ohm stuff you need to factor in that they're using more than one coil most of the time. Say you're using a dual coil set up that registers at 1 ohm resistance, this means that you're actually using two 2 ohm coils that are in parallel configuration, thus dropping effective...

Congrats :) I would advise using that equipment until it fails and then replacing it with a VV/VW and an RBA. I spent a lot of money on the Kanger/Ego type stuff and had nothing but problems with it and finally ended up switching to a genesis style RBA and have been happy for 3 months so far...
