Wright's Silver cream and Copper Cream also work well for applications like this. They can also be purchased at Wal-Mart. Be careful using Brasso on Silver Contacts, it may slowly wear away at the layer of silver on them.- PhatRon

Does flavoring go "bad"?

Keep it nice and saturated. I have also read on here that when using Rayon you need to make it tighter in the coil compared to cotton because the Rayon doesn't expand like the cotton does. What is the size of the screws in the Odin? I have almost stripped the philips head on my center post screw because when I received it, it was tightened down too tight and no matter what size screwdriver I used, it wouldn't get it out. There is no way that an 8 wrap of 24 gauge could equal 2.8 ohms and burn too hot. Maybe 0.28 ohms but that doesn't really seem probable unless you are doing a super nano coil. I would retest the resistance and come back and let us know what it is. If it is still reading that then I would trash...- PhatRon

best kanthal gauge?
I personally like 24 gauge Kanthal. It produces the best flavor for me and I run single coils between .4-.5 doing 6-7 wraps on a 5/64th screwdriver. I have not tried 22 but I don't see myself getting anything bigger than possibly 22 gauge. Anything higher gauge just simply lacks the flavor I...- PhatRon

How to maintain your vaping equipment
All I've ever done is a simple hot water bath for my tanks and when I was trying to clean the coil heads out before I started rebuilding them, I would run them under some hot water and do a dry burn to the point that all the coils were glowing red and there was no gross smell or vapor coming off...- PhatRon

I would suggest not diluting it with water until the base and VG is in the bottle you are making. That way you know that it will actually be 20% distilled water and it won't mess up your nicotine amount.
