I here ya Cap, simpler is usually better. But, in my grand scheme of things, It's about staying off cigs (2nd vapeversarry coming up!) and sometimes to do that I need the extra power to get the flavor that I want constantly.

Most of the time my swirls turn out bad, I wipe it with acetone to the point where the colors mix and do a rag effect with the cotton pads. That crappy mess then becomes my base color and I start layering swirls on top of it. You'll be surprised with the results.
I just put two tiny drops of superglue to make the top cap stick. The newspaper expands when wet and increases the friction against the plastic fork I use for a handle. As for the wood version, I just did a layer of brown, yellow (mixed with a little brown), and highlight it with black swirl...
Yup, I'll just clamp it on a vise and drill it. No biggie :toast: Just to make sure. The holes are supposed to be in line with the notches on the adjacent piece, correct?

I finally got my Erlk clone and I gotta say that the workmanship is quite good!.... Well it would've been even better if I can get it to work! I did a build on it and I'm getting juice sucked up the drip tip. I rebuilt it with less cotton, took off the bottom delrin completely and I'm still...
Sorry about that Junque, I didn't specify that I use paint thinner for thinning enamel paints and not acetone. I haven't tried testors, but I've read that it's thicker than humbrol paints. I suggest putting a couple of drops on water and if it doesn't spread, or just globs and sink, then go...
