If you don't wanna go towards mechs look into the DNA 30 clones (Real ones are out of stock) which are clones but can perform great from the right vendor. Anything under 20-30 watts won't come close to hookah. Also if you do decide you want to subohm it is possible with the DNA 30.

You can find great ejuice online that ships quick for cheap that goes up to 36mg. I'd recommend Mtbaker. But good luck with vaping, cigarettes are disgusting looking back at it after vaping for awhile.
