Not new to vaping but I'm a new member so I know what I'm talking about somewhat. Anyways my question is what are the pros of having a DNA over a Mechanical mod besides the safety and consistency at 30 watts? I can go well over 30 watts on my mech. But lets say I were to put a micro coil on a mech with fewer wraps at .58 ohms with my sony 18650 4.2v charged (Which adds up to 30 watts) compared to a 1 ohm micro with more wraps at 30 watts on the DNA 30. Would the DNA 30 have more vapor because it would be covering more surface area at the same amount of watts?
You need to look at wire GAUGE .
If you were to put a micro coil on a mech with fewer wraps at .58 ohms
28 GAUGE with your sony 18650 4.2v charge (Which adds up to 30 watts) compared to a 1 ohm
28 GAUGE micro with more wraps at 30 watts on a DNA 30.
I think when you look at that you will agree the 1 ohm coil is going to be running at lot COOLER. Maybe even not hot enough.
The difference is with the mech, if you vape is too hot or too cold, you have to do over your coil.
With the DNA30, you can just adjust the voltage to suit - if too cold, raise the voltage; if too hot, reduce the voltage.
If you are running dual coils, it means you can pay more attention to adjusting the ohms on one coil to balance the two coils instead of having to adjust both to get the exact ohms you want.
