If I didn't use the Elm XL atty. on my Timber by Element Mods, I'd have scars by now. :) Fortunately, it has a removable upper part on the top cap that prevents the, ahem, kisses of pain. If it's really that big of a problem for you, perhaps you should pick one up. Here's a couple pics of mine.

I see good advice above, but I'd also recommend you squeeze the wrapped part of the coils together a bit (gently). This has done the trick for me numerous times in the past. Just keep tinkering with them; you'll get there. :vapor:

I'd probably stay away from Cheesecake by Hangsen. It's terrible until it's steeped for a couple weeks, and even then it's nothing to write home about. I know you were asking for the best, but thus far Hangsen is the only one I've tried, and figured I'd try to help narrow it down for you.

I really like Vanilla and Vanilla Bourbon, both of which are from Inawera. They're not dark at all, are good tasting, and they don't gunk up my coils badly at all. Good luck on finding your perfect match!
