Vaping on it for a couple hours now, I have no reason to change, this build is rocking all around, thanks Nano Queen Letitia! :) I'm now a Zeus and a Nano fan. Bring on the innovative single coil RTAs!

Just threw a build in with those exact specs, except using simple 24Ga SS round wire. Working very well so far, going to let the coil/cotton break in a bit and see where I'm at. Thanks @Letitia !!

@Letitia - With all your Nano experience, can you provide some tips on building, specifically coil placement? I was able to find one locally and will be playing around with it later this afternoon. :)

If I remember right, you use Nano’s too right? I might pick one up just for comparison. Really loving the idea of single coil top air RTAs, wish there were more options! Well, maybe not... ;)

Yeah, forgot to mention that ... warmer as well, which I prefer. I would think with the coil closer/towards the top, it would be warmer, but not the case!

Quick Zeus experience update ... Still using the above quoted build specs, but have been playing around with all different coil heights. I've found the best flavor with the very top edge of the coil lined up even or just slightly below the "step" in the side airflow posts. This is relatively...

Tip for the Zeus newbs: Make sure to tighten the 510 pin on the bottom. One of mine was not snug from the factory and was causing some unexpected resistance readings based on my standard coil build. ETA: Tightening the 510, especially if it's really lose, could mess up your build. I recommend...

I’ve simply never found value in them in the types of RTAs I’m interested in... though I understand their purpose and necessity in some. I’d simply prefer less moving parts and a simpler design while still being somewhat innovative or “different”, like the Engine line and the Zeus.

Just opened up my third Zeus tank today, which officially marks the Zeus as my official RTA of choice, running my three favorite flavors. :) I know there has been some discussion on "why more than one" ... etc. Here is my reasoning: About once a year (for the last 4 years vaping): I "upgrade"...

When I'm in a hurry, I do a somewhat modified (lazy?) scottish roll: remove skins (always), gently pull apart/break it up a bit, then roll it together. When I'm not in a hurry, I do a traditional scottish roll: cut pad in to thirds (3 wicks total), carefully remove skins so as not to remove too...

Hmm... I remove my deck to check wicking/build/etc. all the time, even when the tank is full. Never get any leaking ... you can see liquid almost to the edge of the inner chamber, but nothing gets in the chamber and leaks out the chimney. Make sure your liquid fill cap is tight and AFC ring is...

Odd on the different chimney sizes, wondering if they made some revisions... On the leaking out the driptip - I've only had this directly after a slight overfill, when screwing the top cap back on after filling a bit too much, it seems to push some of the liquid in to the chamber which causes...

I’ve settled on my build: 8 wrap SS316L 24Ga 3.0mm I.D. spaced, running in TC set at 460F and 40W with 60W 1s preheat. KGD Cotton, tight through the coil, wick ends declumped, thinned, and cut straight at the ends and then evened out, probably about 2mm sticking straight out beyond the cap...

So, I think it shows some promise ... after recovering from some chain-vapers-tongue after some (seemingly) very successful rayon testing last night, I took my first pull this morning and throughout the entire day could taste kind of a "medicine-ey" flavor. In addition, there is a lot of...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Rayon newb here! KGD for the last four years. Finally made the switch... bought "the box" of 44060 CelluCotton from Sally. I'm using a DNA75 with Temp control/SS316 factory TFR curve, 40W at 480F in a Zeus RTA. It took me about six tries to get it right ... I was either too thin in the coil...

I comb/fan wick ends and then trim excess caused by this process in order to “declump” the threads. With this process, the wick is slightly thinned. If I don’t do this, the flavor is noticeably muted after 2-3 successive, lengthy (4-5s) pulls. I believe this process allows these thirsty tanks...

I have a silver and two gunmetal color. No issues or differences that I can detect with either ... I vape the same liquid/only one liquid, and have been vaping the same liquid daily for almost 2 years now (Bowden's Mate) - very sensitive and experienced on the flavor of this liquid and will...
