I use a variety of ratios. I usually go for 80/20 but occasionally I just buy whatever my local shop has in stock which some do not disclose the ratio for whatever reason. Same with aliceinvapeland. Unless you ask for a specific ratio you get their "optimum" blend. I have found that there is...
I prefer my wicks very short. I cut it about a quarter of an in out of the coil and when I wet it I stick it down into the juice channels. I never let the wick touch the base. It is not needed. Doing it this way I've never had a leak and never a dry hit. Works perfectly and no worries about...
It amazes my that companies such as this and efest get away with inflating numbers that people use to base their builds off of. I realize that you should do your own homework but I'm sure many don't and that raises a very big concern with me. Sorry for the rant great great article by the way...
I really just like the fact that the chip is easily replaceable on the cloudmaker. I agree it's not small though.
I've had a chance to experience the TFV4 on a mech mod which I calculated to be around 88W if I remember correctly and the flavor and vapor was amazing but I can't personally...
The 1590g is a very pretty mod I really like that. Is there a reason to go with that over the cloudmaker or lavabox?
Btw I am also currently running the Goliath V2 ;) not a bad tank but I actually think it is about to get replaced by the TFV4
Edit: I like the vapor shark but I just can't do the...
Well I have spent the entire day researching what's out and coming out soon. At this point I believe I have narrowed it down between 3 mods. Either the sigelei 150w TC because of reliability, the cloudmaker whiteout (which is awesome considering its modular) or the lavabox which personally looks...
Thanks @GeorgeS I technically do not have a price cap per say. At this point I am looking to experiment with various coil builds such as parallel twisted etc. I also keep hearing great things about the temp control mods so I guess I'm looking for something with power and TC which is why I was...
Hey guys Ive changed my course from buying the new sigelei 150w TC to considering a new DNA 200 mod. I've been told that new mods are being released very soon that allow 18650 batteries. Since I have a bunch of vtc5/4s I think I would like this better than switching to lipo. Do you guys have any...
Ok so dumb question. The dna200 is the chipset used correct? What is a really good mod brand that uses this and is rebuildable? I'm currently searching but the more I search the more I get confused.
I keep coming across the vtbox 200 but that's about it currently. I can't find anything...
According to a quick review it looks like the dna200 is a better mood than the sx350j. So I guess at this point it is a matter of which one. I really really like the fact it is rebuild able but at the same time it uses special batteries which would require a complete change in hardware. Not the...
Actually I had no clue upgradable chips existed haha. And that's why I came here for help. I previously had an evic supreme but 1 month out of warranty it just stopped working. Constantly said overload protection even using a pre bought 1.5 ohm coil (before I got really into sub ohming). I was...
I'm considering spending the cash for the 150W TC mod and before I do I figured I would ask people more knowledgeable about this stuff than me. I'm wondering if this is one of if not the best temperature controlled box mods. When I look over TC mods it seems nothing companies to this but I would...
Hey guys I'm looking to get my first box mod. In the past I was addicted to VV/VW mods and have spent a pretty penny on them. I even went with the higher end mods (when they were new) such as the Evic supreme and an older provari. When they worked they were great but for whatever reason they...
Yeah unless you are filling from the drip tip and flooding the coil such that it leaks into the tank I don't think this is impossible. I wish it was but I don't thing the Goliath can be too filled in any way.
This is caused by flooding of the coil. The flooding is caused when the vacuum inside the tank is not sufficient. The o ring I am speaking of is the larger oring that seals the glass. It connects to the base and mates with the glass. To fix this simply remove the base of the tank like you would...
I've watched several videos and the way I built mine was to have the tip of the wick just barely sit in the juice wells. I even cut the wick at a slight angle such that just the tip is in the well ;).... I also aligned the top of the coil with the top of the post. With this build I have yet to...
I second the above comments about the velocity. I just received mine today and wow his thing is amazing. Very very simple build and great flavor and clouds. Would love to see some builds from more experienced members. Is there a dedicated thread for this device? Couldn't find one. A search...
There are no leaks so far. You can also fix the sub tank leaks by taking the lower oring and flipping it. Sounds odd but I have fixed 3 out of 3 with that simple fix. Try it out in sure it will stop the leaks.
