Had a fantastic smoke and vape free holiday! Even though my vacation partner was a smoker I was never seriously tempted to smoke. Been vape free for over three weeks now so I'm a happy camper.
It seems i'm spreading the 'quit smoking'-virus everywhere now. Now that people witnessed how...
Ok so this is hopefully my final update on this topic.
I quit smoking two months ago.
I quit nicotine a little over two weeks ago.
I quit vaping two days ago.
I also decided not to take any vaping gear with me on holiday. Every time a slight craving hits I just tell myself: 'What's really the...
Quit vaping two days ago. Haven't had a smoke in two months and haven't had nicotine in over two weeks and haven't had a vape in two days. So far so good. :-)
In a couple of days I'm leaving for my Borneo vacation for three weeks and I decided not to take my vaping gear with me.
Thanks PaulieD and well done for kicking the smoking habit again after the relapse. A couple of years ago I quit smoking for over two years cold turkey before picking it up again totally unexpected on a slightly drunken night out with friends. Within a couple of days I was a pack-a-day smoker...
Good luck to you too Harlen.
I'm treating quitting more and more like ripping off a band-aid: the short pain.
I don't really believe in dragging on vaping forever when your goal is to quit eventually. It seems a bit like putting off the inevitable and sounds a bit like junkie-thinking to me...
Hi guys,
Started vaping at the end of August. Smoked my last analog on September 1st. Decreased my nic level from 18 to 0 gradually over the last month and a half and have been nic free now for 5 days.
Switching to 0 nic has proven to be the most difficult step in all this, even more difficult...
Yes you're probably right.
On November 6 I'm going on a three week holiday. I hope to be vape free by then. What would you guys do?Take a PV 'just in case' or just leave without anything?
OK so switching to 0 nic hasn't been so easy as lowering from 18 to 3. I decided to not switch between 0 and 3 because I want to kick nic's a** once and for all. No more nic for me. Now completely nic free since 3 days. I do experience cravings though. Probably not nearly as bad as if I would...
Time for another update. My weaning off nic plan is still going strong. I'm actually ahead of schedule. No problems whatsoever switching to 9, then to 6, then to 3,... Today I decided it's time to switch to zero.
My plan was to do a little 3 in the morning and after meals for the next couple of...
So a little update on my weaning off nic plan. I'm still on schedule with today being the last day of my week 2 (all week 9mg). Starting tomorrow I will drop to 6 with the occasional 9 in the morning and after meals. Going to buy more 6 liquids tomorrow morning.
I'm leaving for vacation to...
Hi guys,
I'm currently vaping with a Janty Clearo (eGO battery with a top-coil clearomizer). How do you guys know when to replace the coilheads? That's not really clear to me as of yet. Are there noticeable 'triggers' that make it clear that a coilhead should be replaced?
Thanks for your help...
Well nice to see all this poop talk! Happy vaping. Not so happy pooping.
Well I guess quitting smoking is a shock to the system in every way imaginable. I guess my body just needs time to get over it.
To poop or not to poop... It seems to go both ways after quitting. Not everybody...
lmao! Yes we certainly did have some kind of language barrier going on there. Since I'm Belgian and my mother tongue is Dutch I was thinking of the fresh fruit, not the dried things. So ok, I have a bag full of plums in my fridge. :)
Prunes or plums, today it did the trick. :)
Yes I might check the menthol out next time I'm in the vape shop. Who knows I might even like it when vaping. I can't imagine using menthol as my all day vape though. But maybe I'm wrong. 'll definitely give it a shot when reaching the lower bars on the nic scale.
About the dripper: I'm such...
I really do hope so. :)
Quitting smoking was already a huge step and an easy one at that. Getting rid of my nic depencendy gradually for me is not so much because of health concerns (I believe nic on its own without all the analogue crap that goes with it can not be that dangerous). it has...
