Yes, blow into the battery while the cart is still attached... at first, I tried it without a cart. Boy was that hard. So I put the cart back on, and it works! It unstuck my sticky trigger... thanks!!!

Also, if the current batteries are broke, and it sounds like they are, you might want to trade up for the single logo batteries with 10-13 second cutoff. They are, in my opinion, a huge upgrade over the previous... longer draw, more vapor... mmmmm
