While I agree with that assessment and tried trouble shooting from there with no luck. I am now in belief that it has to do with the spring at the top.

Here is a new model "LavaFire Lock 4", it is the smallest I have come across for a 18350 battery and it is expandable in case you would like to use it with a larger battery. Lava Fire Lock V4

The only things I know of that are different are the swirls. From the reviews I have been seeing it seems there are little more complaints with V3 compared to V2.

Out of your list I would 2nd the SS Vamo. If you do not like the look of V3 you can always get a V2 which is the same just not with the swirls going around it.

I had this unit for a while. The first one the button went on it in a matter of a day. You would press the button and it would not power down till you unscrewed the head. Replaced the whole unit and the problem repeated within three days. You rally want to like the unit, it looks good and feels...

I would still want the master kill switch on a parallel either way, horn switch or not. I am more interested in getting it set up for 3.7 with two 14500 batteries.

I would say look at the Roughstack at MadVapes. Nice small MOD, with a 1200mah battery, should easily last you a day and very nicely priced.
