    XvoStick users?

Was just having a look through what I've missed. I have an SS xvo, actually pro xvo now, but also have a vapor flask with brass battery caps and on that I also run a brass airflow ring on the squape. I use a light duty non toxic cleaning cloth to polish those bits up, the cleaning cloth is...

Sorting out the Squape R and Rs

Yeah I've got a W and 2 x B decks, find the B to wick a lot better and can get it setup quite nicely so have just stuck with that one pretty much since it came out.

Sorting out the Squape R and Rs

Fantastic info, getting a really good idea of how it's all set and getting a good angle worked out on it all. As for not putting too much thought in though, well, previously I didn't put in enough and just tried to roll with what was provided, basically left me with at least one very expensive...

Sorting out the Squape R and Rs

Sweet, awesome diagram, I had not noticed that bushing - by squinting through it appeared to me as a straight shot right up through the base where the air holes meet, and then continued on through the decks vent when its snapped in. If I'm looking at this the right way, and that bushing is...

Anything that will stand up to a bit of abuse?

Generally I've been running RTAs since the get go, can now report the analogs have been kicked and I've gone all digital. Doesn't really seem to take all that much to knock a built coil out of position and make a mess of the wick, and that's not something I want to be dealing with when out...

Sorting out the Squape R and Rs

The pin is a common M3-0.50 x 15mm, so I grabbed an M3 x 25mm SS bolt off the shelf and cut it by eyeball with a hacksaw to a slightly longer length than the squape issued pin, then made an excuse for a notch with a thin cut dremel wheel in one end for a flatty. Slipped the original o ring on...

    Nautilus tank will not open!

Solved already I see, but my method was a latex glove around the base to protect and careful use of vice grips. Plenty of grip and leverage to get it off easily and carefully. They are a tool worth their weight in gold.

You'd think that would be the entire purpose of the adjustable pin on the squape. But, if it can't even wind out as far as any given fixed pin atty then I think it's fair to say that either the pin is just too short. Lying around I've got a kanger toptank, aspire nautilus and mini and a starre...

Sorting out the Squape R and Rs

Thanks mate, I run the B deck on both and have a good method to setting it up that I detailed somewhere in the squape R thread itself. I've fired up the Rs and so far so good - but I am finding I still need to wind the pin out slightly further than I would prefer - its still in there pretty...

Sorting out the Squape R and Rs

So. I've got both of these and for an age could get them dialed in really nicely build after build just about with my eyes closed. Then and endless torrent of problems started and eventually wore me out, so I chucked them in a tub and got a kanger. Biggest killer for me was the leaking, I...

Vapor Flask DNA40 repair / chip replacement?

VF V2 DNA40.. I know this is an older mod, and mines been busted for a while, but a mechanical failure on another mod has left me with a clean DNA40 sitting on the bench and hopefully an opportunity to put life back into this classic mod. The inside of the VF looks like a bloody nightmare...

    XvoStick users?

All good, dug up the vaporshark rdna to hold me down until the new xvo arrives. Hoping to transplant the chip from the busted xvo into my busted vaporflask, but man the inside of that thing makes the xvo look like a mech mod

    XvoStick users?

Unfortunately mine's well and truly stuck. Good news though is I grabbed a refurbed proxvo for a reasonable price, was needing a bigger battery so that works out nicely. I just bought 3 x VTC5 the other day though :(

    XvoStick users?

Oh no, the grub screw is out, that's not whats jamming it. Previously when this has happened to me the plates got itself on a kind of angle, so I've been able to sort of tap it back. This time I'm not really sure though, maybe something else has got in there and is causing the problem, just...

Yeah it jammed up while I was trying to adjust it so screw was loosened already, i've set it aside for now What!? how'd you get it in half like that??

    XvoStick users?

Oh man... The rotating plate in my xvostick has jammed up, this has happened before, a number of times actually and I was always able to loosen it by tapping downwards on it with a screwdriver or something, but not this time, it's stuck pretty good. I think, but can't say for sure, that the...

    importance of accurate resistance reading?

I've put away the RTAs for the minute and am using a kanger toptank mini with the ni200 coils. I don't really think anything with the tank is much of a problem, this mods never really read right, maybe its the pin. Anyway these coils are meant to be at about 0.5 or so, I'm getting closer to...

    Official Squape R[eloaded] thread!

you end up trying any of those? with the pin not springing in my connector anymore I have to have the squape pin wound out so far that the ring on it no longer makes a seal, would like to fix that up for the odd ocassion that a leak occurs

    Official Squape R[eloaded] thread!

Aluminium is used so often in everyday food and beverage packaging / preparation that I have no concerns regarding safety, if it is unsafe then i'm a goner anyway. SS is awesome stuff and I'd take it over alu whenever weight isn't the priority. I've found neither to impact the taste of...
