    [EDITED]

Fine day I picked to check in.... What's a feeder? :-) I'd make an offer but I already have a box of Phids that I just can't seem to part with. One of these days I might just get ballsy and try to shove a DNA 75 in one of them... now there's an idea :-) Thanks for your early contributions to...

NEW YIHI SX MINI ML CLASS!

I've been on my new ML since it came in Monday morning's mail. It definitely has a better feel than the M, and appears to have fit and finish worthy of a $200 device. I had the first batch of M's and the paint was coming off within a day using my fingernail, but the finish on the ML seems to be...

NEW YIHI SX MINI ML CLASS!

I've been lurking for months, got busy over the summer and just enjoyed the heck out of my M - trying not to get dragged back in but wtf ;-) That's actually not a bad response. Glad you shared it - thanks.... Particularly "the most important is that, the resistance can be accurate up to 4...

    SXmini M Class (TEMP CONTROL)

not sure if this was replied to... miss a few days on this thread and catch up is a beach....but that won't do what you think- well, it won't last. The case is some kind of aluminum alloy and the surface oxidizes quickly. I even tried a polyeurathane sealer (as in car sealer glaze)... Unless you...

yes- I trimmed it, and I like it much better that way... next time around, I'll probably go jwraps - I don't like that window on the top of the handle- the 3m stuff is supposed to conform to this kind of shape with heat. - I thought that black wood looked better than mine. FWIW- If you're not...

missed that- you need higher J with heavier gauge too.... think in terms of energy- without the math: more wire, spread out over greater area, with more mass needs more power to get to get the wire to the same temp (with the assumption that the heat is evenly distributed)...

Looks fine from more than 2 inches away... I hit it with a heat gun again after the pics and it's starting to smooth out the edges.....

Which looks better?- that's your decision ... I think the black vapes better once the paint wears off... you bet... 24 ga, 11 1/2 wraps... I tried 26 ga and that was really good too but 24 is just sooooo smooth... more wraps, more contact etc... ko gen doh wick

Did that- they aren't lifting those are just shadows from the flash... trimmed the frame- - much better.

I opted to keep my device as my local B&M only had a device which was built on the same day as the one that lost all its paint (March 27th) - ended up with vapor skinz- not impressed that it comes in 2 pieces which causes a seam in the middle or that the sticker goes all the way to the edge...

More power...maybe higher temp...try 25j-30j..higher gauge wire needs more power to get to the same temps...

    SXmini M Class (TEMP CONTROL)

Just an update on my paint situation- I sent some email off to yihi after my local B&M said yihi wouldn't replace it even though the paint was coming off with my finger nails. it took several days to get a reply but they asked for my serial number and where I bought it and they asked me to...

I couldn't agree more! Provape is a great company with customer service/support second to none, but at the end of the day (as I said before) they have a device & technology that's targeted at main stream users who want more than cigalikes offer. They have a loyal following because they earned...

also if you buy broccoli you can get those rubber bands for free... if you want to get fancy, put a smaller rubber band around one end to tension it down.

You can estimate it using power out and power in like you described but you don't use that because you don't know what the circuit is actually drawing to operate and you certainly don't know what spikes the battery is seeing due to pulses generated by the chip... we can say 20A is probably safe...
