    Best tobacco for flavor extraction

I appreciate your viewpoint and I agree, but I was really just checking for any replies saying that it's a known thing to not do that, etc. But it looks like that's probably not the case here.

how about a warm bath at the end, or the middle, of the sitting period? Like, say, at week 4, week 6, or whatever of a 8-12 week extraction?

    Best tobacco for flavor extraction

and a noob question...if one is doing a standard PG cold maceration, is there any benefit to starting it out with the warm bath for 8 hours like you describe? Why are you doing it, for instance? Thanks for any tips.

nost, thanks for the info. If I asked for a quintessential burley, would you recommend one? Not fire-cured...lightly toasted perhaps, but it must be pretty much free of fire curing for my tastes. Do any of you have any recommendations? Thanks!

    OSDIYS Tobacco Absolute...any tips?

I can understand your aversion to high priced flavorings, for sure. After getting into synthetic tobaccos recently, Flavorah has been nearly everywhere with positive reviews. I've enjoyed them fairly well, usually at levels <1%, even for standalone recipes. And I'm intrigued what you're using...

    OSDIYS Tobacco Absolute...any tips?

I think I have a bottle of that am4a, i need to finally try it. I was expecting you to say you love flavorah tobaccos, which seem to also be all the rage right now. My favorite hangsen is desert ship, which to me has a great general cigarette (unlit) flavor note that I enjoy. I can actually...

    OSDIYS Tobacco Absolute...any tips?

Well I always enjoy hearing what people enjoy regarding tobacco vapes. I'd be interested in seeing what you do enjoy these days in tobacco stuff. I have tried dozens of NETs and many synthetic tobacco flavorings over the years. I am in the midst of waiting for some DIY cold maceration NETs to...

    OSDIYS Tobacco Absolute...any tips?

Thank you IDjoel! I assume this would make the flavoring concentrate to then mix into your final ejuice right? Also, do you have any other TAs you like better? I have thus far tried 3 of Inawera's TAs and nudenicotine's, all with pretty good flavor enjoyment. Some great.

    OSDIYS Tobacco Absolute...any tips?

After more research I see one forum poster said this about OSDIYS's TA paste: "Used One Stop DIY shop's tobacco absolute (the paste) and diluted as they instruct with 1 spoonful (that it came with) and EM the rest PG. (used 10 ml bottle instead of 15ml though)" I guess I misunderstood the...

    OSDIYS Tobacco Absolute...any tips?

Ive found some people mentioning that with paste TAs, you should mix it with PG at the level I did, then use THAt as a flavoring at 2-3 %. They didnt metion this brand but I assume it's similar. But honestly I don't see how they mixed it in the PG unless they heated it up? Anyway, all tips/help...

    OSDIYS Tobacco Absolute...any tips?

** EDIT: I think I answered my own question (after initially posting this thread) with research here on this forum. The recipe on the site says a scoop of TA paste with 15 mls PG and EM. I mistook this to be a recipe for a final ejuice product and I now believe this recipe is to produce a...

    Best tobacco for flavor extraction

oh, an interesting thing ... I got out a sample of the virgnia (R) that had been sitting for about 3 weeks at the time of getting the sample. I mixed up a small tester at around 20%. Noticed it's got a strong hay/grassy flavor. I hope with more extraction time this will mellow out, or at least...

    Best tobacco for flavor extraction

Starting in late december, I started my first NET extractions. I got some virginia and burley from leafonly (the virginia was labeled "virginia (r)" at leafonly i believe, which may mean "red" virginia? Anyway, I cut up the leaves with scissors (maybe not the best route but its what I had) and...

    Best tobacco for flavor extraction

Thanks to both of you. I was actually going to do a cold maceration. So PG will work out perfectly for me then. I'll stick to that. My big bottle gets here tomorrow :P So is the only difference between PG and PGA for doing this is just the ease of filtering?

    Best tobacco for flavor extraction

NET.com starting to decline??? Wow he has been the sort-of steady rock of NET vendors since I started vaping NETs sometimes back in 2014-15. I have a question for those who extract using PGA...in my state we now only go up to everclear at a proof of 151 i believe. We do not have everclear at...

    Best tobacco for flavor extraction

Just thought I'd post here -- I am a complete noob to making NETs. I have vaped many many many vendor's NETs though, but this will be the first I'm making on my own. Str8vision kind of motivated me into trying it myself. I'm going to try a basic method. I ordered two 1/4 lb samples of tobacco...

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

Yo, gents! Hope everyone is well amongst my fellow NETizens. I was wondering if anyone knows for sure if NETs are okay in polycarbonate tanks? Ive not had any cracking or other issues in evod tanks but I supose that's not to say it's perfectly fine. Ive got the kayfun and Id really love to use...
