    Moving to QLD - panic!

OK, cool, you guys seem to be pretty chilled about it - will see how it goes in the meantime! I don't have any children anyway, don't go anywhere near them, nasty little creatures ;)

    Moving to QLD - panic!

Hey guys My first post in the Australia forum! That's because I live in the UK now, where we have it pretty easy with the vaping lark. However my husband and I are moving to Brisbane later this year, which is going to be amazing. I know it has been more difficult in Aus for getting hold of nic...

    Vape/Analog Friendly Airports

Yip, having a courtyard fits in well with the Spanish pro-smoking attitude - unlike the new indoor smoking ban! I was there just a couple of days before that took effect, and was genuinely shocked when eating at a Tex Mex restaurant and a woman at the next table lit up - bars I was expecting...

    Vape/Analog Friendly Airports

Barcelona - BCN - at terminal 1 past security is a large outdoor courtyard, in fact I think there may be more than one, where smoking is permitted.

    Travel and Vaping new orleans

Yeah, I was there 2 weeks ago - awesome city! I think restaurants are non-smoking, but it seems to be up to individual bar owners whether to be smoking or not - smoking was allowed throughout Pat O'Briens for example, but nowhere in Napoleon House or Port Of Call. Smoking also permitted in the...

    TSA and the Ecig FAQ

Now travelling with the TW Tornado. I did wonder whether its chunkier battery may attract attention - but nope. In the past week I've been through security in Glasgow, Amsterdam (twice at gates), Minneapolis (3 times) and Winnipeg (boy are they thorough, rifled right through my bags!) - all was...

Travel and Vaping Canada to US baggage restriction - any recent experience?

Thanks y'all, looks like I'm safe to carry on a minimal amount of e-cig stuff. Yeah, the battery thing makes sense. I'm taking my tiny laptop and am now thinking of putting it in my old large laptop bag which also has room for a book and e-cig stuff can go in the pocket - grand. Wow, wait til I...

Travel and Vaping Canada to US baggage restriction - any recent experience?

Yeah, but the key for me is 30 hour journey! Cigarettes are allowed and I can puff away my 5.5 hours at Schiphol (even if the smoking cabins have somehow been removed, I can go outside), but otherwise would be pretty much screwed! The other (first) stop is Minneapolis and I doubt I'd even get...

Travel and Vaping Canada to US baggage restriction - any recent experience?

I know Canada is being extremely strict on items taken into the cabin for flights to the US compared with the rest of the world. Luckily I have a small bag that fits in with the size requirement so I can take a few small items. However I'm concerned that e-cigs are not on the list of individual...

Merry christmas to one and all!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas! I have opened all my pressies (tons of tiki stuff, 2 series of The Big Bang Theory and a bunch of great movies on DVD, and other things of joy) and am now playing my fave festive sounds - Andy Williams, Darlene Love, the Beach Boys and the fabulous Ventures Christmas Album). I...

this might be interesting, in calif.- backyard smoking banns??

California's a funny state. You have cr@p going on like bans on smoking inside apartments and entire towns going smoke free, yet in Sonora I found the only smoking-permitted bar I've been in during the past couple of years other than in Vegas! I'm still half vaping, half smoking, and I got an...

Travel and Vaping VEGAS here I come! Now,....

I used my penstyle in the 4 Queens and on Fremont street loads, no-one gave me a second glance. There was a Smoking Everywhere stall right on Fremont anyway. Anything goes in Vegas anyway, pretty much!

    Vape/Analog Friendly Airports

I've just read that Manchester airport (UK) has re-opened a smoking lounge in T2 8-o I honestly thought that would never happen!

Travel and Vaping Airplanes and Vaping doable?

I flew Continental, who have a clear no-vaping policy. It's right there in black and white in the in-flight magazine. It's not illegal, but the airline has banned it on their flights! Nothing I can do about that.

Travel and Vaping Airplanes and Vaping doable?

Following my near disaster when trying to vape secretly in my seat - and coughing out a bunch o' vape - on a BA flight this year, I tried something new flying to EWR a couple of weeks ago. It was a 7.5 hour flight and as usual we were hemmed in by a stranger, so I couldn't nip to the toilet too...

So I just tried Stonewalls and Ariva....

Well, I couldn't find any of these things in NY, NJ, VA or DC - tried many Rite Aids, and I asked in a cigar-stinky tobacco shop in DC and the guy thought I was nuts! Bah. Queen City Candy can't ship overseas. Oh nutz.

So I just tried Stonewalls and Ariva....

I'm dying to try these things! I arrive in the USA tomorrow and will immediately begin a hunt for them. I've heard Rite Aid stocks them, but I have no idea whether that's all states - but I'll be in NJ, NY and VA and I know there are Rite Aids reasonably close to all places we'll visit/stay...

    Hockney calls for 'smoking rooms'

The law is so inflexible in the UK! Utter rubbish! I was absolutely gobsmacked on my last holiday in California to find both an owner-operated bar allowing smoking throughout (in Sonora), and a bar with a smoking room (San Francisco). There are still loopholes that allow this stuff to go on, in...

    Vape Friendly Airlines

Until you cough and it escapes everywhere, visible to all. Happened to me. Luckily only my boyfriend noticed - I think! The only officially vape friendly airline I know of is Ryanair. Otherwise a horrid, mean airline, but I love them for selling and allowing the in-flight use of e-cigs.
