AC9 Genesis atomizer available to the public!!

ya don't have to blow yer whole wad on a lathe but don't cheap out really either.....do a lil research and you'll find that there are some better 7x12 and 7x14 lathes out there. Like I said, tooling and lathe setup/maintenance will be key to success. I highly recommend getting a quick change...

AC9 Genesis atomizer available to the public!!

honestly, you wouldn't even truly require a lathe to do all that I posted above.......it is just far more precise and "finished". Any decent 7x12 mini lathe would be a good place to start but keep in mind......the right tooling and ton's of practice is what will give you good parts. :)

Alright kids.....hold on to yer hats....... before: standard parts for the AC9 here you can see the 510 threads not complete and no back cut, keeping it from threading down flush on some devices: using my lathe, some taps and a lil creativity I made these: a new positive post/screw...

AC9 Genesis atomizer available to the public!!

My AC9 threads onto my EA mod just fine but there is an issue........there is no back cut on the top part of the 510 connector (part closest to the body) and the threads stop too early and will not screw down all the way flush to the top cap. I'll be chucking it up in the lathe to remedy this soon.

    E1 Error for Too Tight?

the center/positive pin on the phoenix is a "floating" pin and plate, too tight the it could be pushing the post that the coil attaches to into the outside/ground section of the atty causing the short.......but make no mistake....E1 is because of a short.....

    Burnt taste from AC9 setup

also, if there is any part of yer coils that are not touching the wick, then this could let that part of the coil run a lil dryt giving you a burned taste.....might not be bad enough to show up as a glowing "hot spot" when wet but is essentially the same negative effects...

Why so many Pro/Zap combos for sale?

I run nothing but genesis rebuilables on everything I have, IMO they are very much worth the time to learn and if you are patient and like to tinker then it's actually not too hard either.

Why so many Pro/Zap combos for sale?

There was a time way back that I used to ask the same question...........who the hell need 15 watts... Then I got into the better rebuildables and then hybrids......... Something about a 28g wire .8ohm coil on a mechanical is just awesome!!!!Huge, quick vapor......this setup can't be run on...

Why so many Pro/Zap combos for sale?

an archaic combo?.......lol, far from it...... See, the advanced ecig world moves in stages or waves........some will say they have moved on or up to a good mechanical mod, well, mechanical mods were there long before all these crazy regulated mods. So, technically you could consider mechanical...
