I was referring to the pre-rolled, pre-oxidized wicks in liquid. Now it comes with 3 flat sheets of unoxidized 350 mesh.

That is pretty weird... Mine ( from the batch prior to this one came with pre-rolled pre-oxidized wicks) came with them. I'm still trying to get the hang of making wicks and coils though.

I picked up 100ft of 28 gauge kanthal for less than $9. And recently ordered 100ft of 32 and 30 gauge to play with. Also I got a bunch of 375, 400, 500 mesh.

So far, I've tried a 500 straw type wick, and made a solid 375 wick... But I don't think I oxidized the solid one right because I kept getting hotspots. What else should I try as far as wick styles goes?

Mine was like that, I think there's a bur on your threading... I think someone else ran into that problem also. I simply put rubber bands on the top and bottom (not on the tank) to get a really good grip, and twist quick and firm. And when it's apart, take a look at your threads. And see if there's a burr or a piece of the thread hanging off.

Thanks for the tip, but no dice for me - probably more than a burr in my case. Hopefully they'll get back to me soon. Being impatient I rinsed with some Atomic Cinnacide from TastyVapors, vaped a 1/4 tank and am seeing some marks and smells developing from in the tank. Now I really need to take it apart to see what's up, argh...

Silver lining: other than the funky smell/taste, it vapes very well, lol!

LoL! I live about 45 minutes from tasty vapor, and that flavor lingers very well! I haven't tried it in a genesis, but I can imagine it's tasting really good! I like it, but ruins other flavors for me though.

I would keep at it with the rubber bands though. Mine was pretty nasty... More of a bent thread than just a burr.

got my AC9 from the last batch and i am having trouble taking the tank out as well... i just wanted to do a quick wash before i build it. i ended up doing the wash with a syringe... at first i thought they changed the tank design so that you cant take it apart anymore. Ill try to take it apart later this week to see if i can muscle it off.

510 threading on these are pure .... tho, it screwed fine on my vamo but not on my precise+.. hopefully it'll screw down on my EA mod coming this week since i bought AC9 for EA mod ;)

That AC9 looks great on the Poldiac and your picture is making me anxious for mine, which should be shipping soon. One question: Are the Poldiacs branded anywhere with the 'edition name ie 'Pete 54', 'UMA', 'Cloud Wizard'... I sure hope not.

My AC9 threads onto my EA mod just fine but there is an issue........there is no back cut on the top part of the 510 connector (part closest to the body) and the threads stop too early and will not screw down all the way flush to the top cap. I'll be chucking it up in the lathe to remedy this soon.

I noticed the same thing. Wish I had the lathe skills you do to fix that. Post pics when she's sitting flush on the EA;)

Looking good, but I can't tell, does your poldiac lean (like mine)? I received a MiriamWTH a few weeks ago, didn't have a topper and just added the AC9 over the weekend. To my disappointment, I found that it was leaning! I looked over everything and realized that the bottom cap was not cut straight, and the bottom, where the engraving is, while flat, is not straight with the vents and top edge of the cap! I reached out to them, and they have offered me a voucher for the site, but I'm still going to end up spending 9 Euros to get a new bottom cap... less than pleased. On top of that, they are out of Polished right not, so i can't even get the replacement!! Grr. Not only did they fail on QC, they failed to *fully* rectify it via customer service. With as much as it costs, that's pretty BS. Will post pics in next post.

Amirite- Hopefully that doesn't happen to you, but let me know if it does. To answer your question, there is no indication of the edition anywhere on the Poldiac, bottom cap included. According to Elias at MMV, each bottom cap has its own serial number, so I would assume that they are made completely independently of their intended uses. Makes sense.
