Honestly, every vaper should have at least a couple 510 attys and a few carts lying around for backup. I always, even after years of vaping, end up reverting to the 510 from time to time. Maybe I'm waiting for a new ego-c atomizer to come in the mail. I also built a homemade passthrough that I...
Hello,
About a week and a half ago I bought one those new tank systems for my ego t, the 3 ml tank with the silver coil in the middle. I absolutely love it, I only have to fill the tank about twice a day. My local smoke shop sells the replacement coil attys for $3 a piece. However, I live about...
I think Totally Wicked is the best juice out there personally. It seems to burn the cleanest, taste the best, and the 36mg really packs a punch. Highly recommended.
So is there any difference at all between say, The Tornado Tank and the Ego-T? Are there any differences or improvements, slight variations, ect.... or is it just a branding/advertising thing?
Many here would agree that the 510 is the most solid model out there. Before I started modifying mine, I loved it minus a couple things; the short battery life and the annoyance of constantly having to top off. But after picking up an Ego-T battery and making a ZFM, my 510 is perfect! So I was...
So you're saying one atty produces more vapor than the other, right? IME, attys can vary in quality control quite a bit. Did you
blow off all the primer fluid on both and vape for a while 'to break them in'? Sometimes optimal performance is not right when it's brand new. In fact, I've revived...
Nope. That's never going to happen. Ever. The government taxes the ..... out of cigarettes. That tobacco in those 20 cigarettes is not worth $7 (average price a pack where I'm from). Cigarettes will still be approved by the FDA in ten years, And those guys need ti=o sort their priorities...
Wow, Scottbee I've been following your posts since your were 'Scottyballs' and I have always marveled at your ingenuity. I could never, ever get my homemade 510 ZFM to work properly and spent 13 hours on amphetamines in a hunched over position over my coffee table zealously trying with no...
The best way to deal with changing batteries is to get (or build) a USB passthrough. If you're at home relaxing at the computer, the passthrough is excellent. As far as constantly having to top off, well I still have yet to resolve that issue with the 510. I hear cartomizers are good.
The standard carts are awful. I simply use less polyester and fill from the bottom up. Works like a charm. Also check out my homemade USB Passthrough via m401 Charger!
Why not build your own, as I did? Folllow that link for simple directions...all you need is a USB cable and an old m401 USB charger! I built mine for free from scrap, and it is running at 5Vs and working great!
And a few more pictures since I can only have 5 per post.
My friend and Co-inventor taking a massive puff.
Another angle of the 401 charger. Interesting how they connect perfectly.
The inside of the m401 charger. Simply remove the USB terminal and circuitry and wire.
Hope you like it...
Okay...So I took apart the passthrough and discovered the problem was just a loose wire, easy fix. Note that this is just a prototype, and I will make a more attractive and convenient model next. But for now, I can vape perpetually at my computer, on the road, or near an outlet thanks to my...
So yesterday I decided it was time to quit smoking again. I live in NH, aka the middle of nowhere. I had to drive an hour to the only head shop around that carries worthwhile e-cigs and juice. I spent all my cash on the parts and juice and I purposefully did not buy cigarettes. So I did not want...
My Simple Method to General Cleaning:
1) Soak in 90 iso alcohol for 15-60 minutes, depending on grossness of taste.
2) Blow through the battery end to get as much of the iso out to take down drying time.
3) Let dry, or if you need your nic fix or in a hurry, I'll stand it up on top of a...
Just so everyone knows, I've been using this since I first thought of the concept, thought it wouldn't work-- then an hour later I saw Highping's post over in tips&tricks. I tried it and...woah! That was a couple months ago. I have never needed to try any other mods since; as this mod works...
Hmm...I've been using it for quite a while with no problems. I suppose I'll use it sparingly tho, if it can kill the atty....which is the opposite of what I'm trying to achieve. Thanks for the input.
So I discovered this tonight...I've been using compressed air (duster) to clean my atties for a while now, but I just figured out the best way to use them. If you have an m401, take one of the rubber caps and poke a hole through the center of it, all the way through. Now widen the hole with a...
