Single/dual coil battery life. A question.

Greetings! I have now repeated my experiment several times, and I can't explain my results. Simply put, why does a single battery/ single coil setup go through twice the ammount of e-juice, compared to a dual coil/ single battery setup? I have used 3 different squonkers, and 5 different RDAs...

Thank you for feedback! And you are most welcome:)

Air flow and coil placement in (most) single coil RDAs

Air is comming from both sides. Only the left air has visible vapor in it. That is how I can pick the two flows apart. This is stated very early in the video :-)

Air flow and coil placement in (most) single coil RDAs

I'm working on a dual coil right now, but I have drawings for a single coil also. We'll see what happens :-)

Air flow and coil placement in (most) single coil RDAs

Thank you! I have done the Aeronaut. You can find it here, and it might surprise you that I went clapton coil for that one :-)

Air flow and coil placement in (most) single coil RDAs

Hi, In order to understand what is going on in this video, it is helpful to have watched my other air flow videos where I cover the basics of what is going on in a low presure chamber (an RDA in use). This experiment is a result of a discusion on this very forum, and I finally found the time to...

I have been wrong about air flow in RDAs all the time...

Hi, Every input and experience is welcome :-) There is a lot to this equation, placement is just one. In the Goon there is not much room for the coils, and if you raise them you can have what I call "the second chamber effect", which is very useful for coarse or complicated clapton coils...

    Wick experiment

Thanks for this report! Very detailed and analytic. I have one sugestion for you; Place your coils right in the straight path of the air flow (and watch my tutorials on this subject if you have not allready). Then you will get the high notes back in the flavor, and without spatter. I had the...

    Wick experiment

Hi, Yeah, Im starting to see the misunderstandings now. I have never twisted a wick in my life:-) I can sit and twist just the tip for 5 minutes, just to get it through, but the twisted tip gets cut off. So, I don't manipulate the fibres in any way now. That is a recipe for disaster, which my...

Win or loose, there is value in both :-) Go for it.

Yes, and I also refer to the Vaping Biker who took it a step furter!

    Wick experiment

Thanks! And as you hear in the video, I agree. But if the juice never gets to the coil due to distance, that is not good either. You have to make the experiment for your self, with your own wicking material and your own distance. I know nothing about RTAs or RDTAs, but those who use the latter...

    Wick experiment

It does not prove anything, as stated in the video, but you asked what this project was good for. And the answer is more vape, better flavor, much less spatter and saving energy. For me. As stated in the video. But thanks for appreciating the work I put into this :-) I'm not forcing anyone to...

    Wick experiment

I agree for the most part. Read this before you watch the third video: I have done aditional experiments after the video. The distance from the bottom of your well to the top of your coil is critical. Here is my Law of Fluffing: 1. Never fluff, you just destroy the fibres. 2. If the distance is...

    Wick experiment

Hi Asbestos! Take a look at this video. It might clear things up a bit :-) Real life heat experiment this time, almost sciency :-) Remember to dial down watt with 20% or add another wrap or two to the coil if you use mech mods. And wick as hard as the coil can handle. Consider spaced coils to...

Thanks for input. I know nothing about tanks. I only drip. But it sounds like you are the perfect guy to do this test! And I think you absolutely should!
