To fluff or not to fluff. That is the question?

Hey everyone, I have heard of different ways to put your cotton on your RDA and RTA. Some people and YouTubers say that the cotton will fluff itself, while others say you must always fluff. I personally fluff my cotton, just like the way the cotton wicks when fluffed. This is just my opinion...

Lol I let him know and if they work good! I might get me one, I rebuild, so never tried a prebuilt RDTA.

Can I use the Aspire revvo BOOST coil in the normal Aspire revvo tank (for Skystar mod)?

Yes you can. I don't have one myself, but one of my coworkers does and keeps trying to get me to buy one. He says they are great. I believe all of the Aspire Revvos have holes in the top of the coils, it is used for filling the tank in RDTA mode. I am not sure if it converts to RDA or at least...

How low can you build on these batteries? 20S, 30T, and Efest 20700

I do measure using a 521 mini in my coil master kit. I like the 521 cause it let's me glow my coils and check my resistance as I go. Doing an estamient is just stupid and 30 to 50 bucks a pop everyone should have one, even if you don't build. I have caught some faulty premade coils with it on my...

How low can you build on these batteries? 20S, 30T, and Efest 20700

Yeah, the aliens I get come in between .38 and .42 depending on how tight he wraps them, so around .2 for dual coils. These flats I'm using right now come in at a .45 per coil with 5 wraps and I added an extra wrap. These are CoilArt "Aliens," but they are actually just claptoned flat wire...

How low can you build on these batteries? 20S, 30T, and Efest 20700

I mainly use dual when dripping, and singles in when sqonking, but that's on a pulse 80W. Just now I threw some flat claptons in my Drop on my AR mech. They came out to .26 with 6 wraps. Running some Nitro's Cold Brew, nice coffee vape after dinner. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

How low can you build on these batteries? 20S, 30T, and Efest 20700

It's not so much about going low for me. It's more of being safe with the builds I like. I get aliens from Jake at my local cloud counters and love the flavor, but they come in about .2. I ask for ones with longer legs to add an extra wrap if I can. Hopefully when I get the hang of building them...

How low can you build on these batteries? 20S, 30T, and Efest 20700

Wonderful! Thank you for your advice. I would never go this low on these batteries, but if I slip down to .19 or .18 on these with my Mech I should still be safe. These are the extreme dangerous lows for my examples. From what I have learned and understand now. I was able to calculate the C...

How low can you build on these batteries? 20S, 30T, and Efest 20700

Hello everyone... I couldn't really find any post on this topic, so I figured I would throw it out there. I have have recently made a purchase from IMR Batteries. I am upgrading some of my batteries and got some 21700 for my Karma mech and my Pulse X when it comes out. I have been using 20700...

Adding Silver Solder to Mech Mod Contacts

Thank you everyone... This was just an idea I had while playing around the other with my iron, and touching up on my soldering skills. I meant BigAl's not fat. I been vaping on Fat Boy by Nasty Juice and just wasn't paying attention at the time. I think, I am going to just clean and polish...

Adding Silver Solder to Mech Mod Contacts

Hello Everyone... This might be a stupid thought, but was wondering if anyone has tried this before? So, I have been working on putting together a PWM with a Fat Al side mount board in it. As I have been going through I have been soldering together the connections to my sled, button, and 510...

So...I'm going to pull out the old Moonshot...

Hey everyone, I've been talking to with the guys at work and they pulled up PWM boxes and the Moonbox that I carried back in December. We got to talking and I plan to go home and build on it tonight for tomorrow or even the next week. Anyone got any suggested builds? I have the wire to make...

TFV12 Prince RBA in the Cobra Edition

Hello Everyone, I didn't find any post on this yet, so figured I would throw it out there. My first big time SMOK sub-ohm tank was the TFV12 Prince. I liked the mods, but the tanks just didn't seem to have the flavor compared to something like the Uwell Crown and Crown 3. It was the first tank...

Using the TFV8 Baby Beast RBA in the TFV12 Baby Prince

So just found out that the TFV12 Baby Prince RBA was just released this week and the only place I have found to get it now is the myvaporstore. Rebuildable Atomizer Head RBA Head for SMOK TFV12 Baby Prince I am going to wait until the tank comes in and give the current TFV8 Baby head a try with...

Using the TFV8 Baby Beast RBA in the TFV12 Baby Prince

That is what kind of brought up this question. I still have the longer glass with my RBA. (I took it out when I was showing her how to install a standard coil head.) I'll have to play with it when the kit comes in. If I need to by a different RBA in the long run, it wont be a big deal. Just...

Using the TFV8 Baby Beast RBA in the TFV12 Baby Prince

Hello everyone, I just order a G-Priv Baby, I love my G-Priv 2 with my TFV12 Prince on it. I just wanted a smaller size to carry around when I am downtown or at work. I had a AL85 with the TFV8 Baby Beast, but gave it away to a close friend when she was quit smoking cigarettes and she has since...

    0.166ohms on a Mech Mod

Thank you for the links! I'll take a look and see about ordering some. I might have to wait till it cools off down here. I always worry about the delivery of electronics in the heat down here. It hit 107 down here in Austin today and in a hot truck that like 140. Thanks again.

    0.166ohms on a Mech Mod

Update: I have taken the build out and swapped to a .3 round wire build. (.289 on the G Priv 2) the new reading is what I am using now the old is the original .17 or .166. It is reading down to the 3rd decimal place. The fluke I have at work is their Fluke 117 Multimeter. About $200 on Amazon...

    0.166ohms on a Mech Mod

Yes the 4.72 is a typo. It should have been 4.27. I am not an electrician, I am a network engineer. I am using a standard 0.5 charger that I purchased off of amazon. It has the ability to go up to 2amps, but I don't want to chance damaging my batteries...
