Glad you're making the switch! I find vaping to be more satisfying than smoking ever was after I grew used to it. It was a rocky start, and difficult at first, but now I love the habit. Still get my nicotine, and I love the heck out of vaping!

One thing that hasn't been mentioned is the physical button on the Riva vs eGo, at least the genuine joye eGo. I personally much preferred my Riva button, and I know there were many who agreed with me on that. A minor difference, to be sure, but something to consider.

Increasing voltage does give more throat hit, but it must be balanced with the right resistance of atomizer... it all comes down to wattage. Lower resistance with the same voltage = higher throat hit. Increased voltage on the same resistance, same thing. Thats why I love variable wattage... you...
