You could possably use it instead of the wire if you wraped it around some wick....but it would take a lot of energy to heat it up... maybe 8volts+ amps. I was talking to my dad about this idea and he says its not very pratical... but I would still like to try it if I could find some thsts...

Get the cutting wheel out on the dremel and cut the skurt off.

Sorry I tried to take sum pix with my cell but they don't come out very well cuz its only a 2mp cam. As soon as my wife finds the good camera I'll post sum. I'm also going to be shrink wrapping the base and coil arm with shrink tubbing for a cleaner look.
