Mark, your vanilla custard does sound good! Like you, I vape a lot, but I don't avoid diacetyl or AP so I use Caps original Vanilla Custard with some Vienna Custard mixed in. It's a much lighter, brighter flavor profile, the heavier custards start tasting too muddy to me after a couple of hours...
