Final update: Got my new tank today. Hasn't leaked since I replaced it at lunchtime around 9 hours ago. I can now officially say I love this thing! The batt life is still a little aggravating, but for this form factor and this performance, I am very pleased.

I've been wondering the same thing. I could see a plastic tank being made with threads, but unless he's got a good way to connect a glass tube to a metal threaded band, I just don't see it. For the record, I too would like to see my juice level. On a side note, I'm still awaiting my replacement...

So, I just got done setting up my GTUS with the 7x7 rope at 0.094" from Amazon with about a double thickness of 400 mesh wrapped around it. I made my coil a little lower resistance than I meant, but the wick seems to be doing great! This is pretty friggin amazing. It does seem to get hotter...

It's obviously not leaking through the metal tank itself. My leak is actually around the threaded top cap and the button locking ring. I thought maybe I was just overwicking and the condensation buildup was getting excessive, but when I took the cap off, the top of the atty didn't seem too wet...

I bought one of those bottle tops, but it flows WAY too slow for my lack of patience. And you got to squeeze the heck outta the bottle. It's nice, but it needs some kind of vent hole to help with flow. I hate having to use the syringe, but it is quicker and relatively painless.

I got the Impression that the color kits will still be made. But in the meantime, you could always pick up a clear kit from Jwraps. Then you'd be protecting it and it would still look good. There was a Pic of one on a GGTS a couple pages back. Just my 2¢.
