eGo battery threads too deep for charger

I'm probably not the first to run into this problem, so any links to relevant threads would be much appreciated. I was recently overseas in the Philippines when one of my eGo batteries went kaput on me (although I later fixed it with by resoldering a faulty wire back to the circuit). This...

    Bauway 901 substitutes

My go-to atty for the past 6 months has been the Bauway 901 (2.5 ohm) from MadVapes, and I'm starting to bug out because they've been out of them for weeks now. There's either an epic backorder, or god forbid they've been discontinued. So I picked up a couple of SmokTech 901s based on their...

    Nicotine vs Chemotherapy

Thanks for sharing your experience! I'm gonna pick up some 0mg liquid. Does anyone know of any throathit enhancers? That's probably what I'll miss the most. I might just keep some 6mg stuff laying around so I can indulge every once in a great while when I'm between treatments. Thanks to...

Yeah, my juice is Backwoods Brew. It's the best stuff I've tasted, and it's hard to steer elsewhere. I don't think it's the cheapest, but I can't compromise on the flavor. I recently received my Megalodon and I've been so happy that I don't think I'm even gonna bother with VV. I like the...

    Nicotine vs Chemotherapy

So the obvious precursor to this is that I am indeed a cancer patient (for the second time). Just to get all the mumbo jumbo out of the way: I had a tumor removed a month ago... doctors all say that I have no more cancer in me (knock on wood) but they are going to give me chemotherapy for...

5V vaping just not for me. Is it really for you?

Honestly, I would recommend a Variable Voltage mod. They're not too hard to come by anymore... ProVari, LavaTube, and the budget-friendly VV Mod from Madvapes. I feel like everyone curious about experimenting with voltage should just get the Madvapes mod and tinker with it until you have a...

Hi, I'm 24 and I live near Brockport in western Monroe county. I just moved back here this year after living in Boston for 6 years. 2 years ago I started with a BLU before seeing the light and getting an eGo.... I usually drip BWB (applewood.... or pretty much anything else) into a 901, but I...

    Entering the Mod world

Thanks for the input. Provari looks like the technical wonder if the mod world, but it's just too indiscreet for me. I'm also wondering if the Volcano VV mod (Lava?) is a more affordable alternative to the ProVari, but I tend to let the ECF collectors find all that out for me before I waste my...

Exactly. It's frightening how similar ecf can be to gearslutz!

Thanks for the info. I think I've picked out my Holiday season splurge purchase. :p

    Entering the Mod world

I must say, you guys do NOT disappoint. Here I am thinking I did a lot of research, and ya'll throw down a bunch of mods that I didn't even check out at all. While searching for the Mako (which looks great, btw), I found electronicstix.com, where I subsequently discovered the Megalodon. I...

    Entering the Mod world

haha.... I've definitely had that feeling. My primary hobby is audio/music production, and the same notion applies to engineer preferences regarding audio gear, microphones and things like that.

    Entering the Mod world

Okay mod collectors/nerds/obsessives... I need your help! I've hit a transitional phase since one of my eGo batteries is now dearly departed. I still have a 1000mAH eGo battery and a 510 battery for a backup, but I want to have another sturdy unit around as an alternative/backup. But... I've...

    eGo battery acting weird

Bummer. I definitely did get my money's worth from the battery. The annoying part is that the battery's passthrough function is inconsistent at this point, but it does work for about 5 drags before it starts acting up. Thankfully, I have a manual 510 battery that has been keeping me going on the...

    eGo battery acting weird

I have 2 Volcano "Inferno" batteries, which are re-branded eGos. I really only use my 1000mAH battery, but the switch broke so I'm sending it back for a replacement. That left me with the 650 passthrough battery for the meantime, but it has been being a jerk recently. It's consistently flashing...

    Wanting the passthrough for ego

INFERNO - USB Battery Cap It's a re-branded version of eGo products. I'm not sure if other versions are threaded or not, but Volcano's are a threaded cap. So if yours was threaded, then this should fit. You just have to look at the little Volcano flame logo.

    Wanting the passthrough for ego

My first eGo device was from Volcano; their Inferno starter kit. It came with a 1000mAH battery and 650mAH passthrough battery. I like those guys because their service is pretty solid, and the warranty always comes through in the clutch (sadly, my 1000mAH battery has broken twice, but has been...

    Encouragement for Sticking with Vapeing

I agree that there are mysteries to the health implications of vaping. Face it guys... we're the guinea pigs of ecigarettes, whether you like it or not. But hey.... I'd rather take my chances on this than KNOWING that I'm killing myself with analogs.

Slightly Gypped? Gourmet Vapor vs. BWB

I knew that you homebrewers would have the answer that I was too lazy to find for myself  Yeah, I really wasn't trying to knock GV or anything. They make a quality product that's highly customizable. I'm still pondering the variance between the 4 bottles I've ordered from them, but...

Slightly Gypped? Gourmet Vapor vs. BWB

Let me start by saying that I'm not out to bash anybody... I've been very satisfied with both Gourmet Vapor and Backwoods Brew in the past, and I feel like both companies fill their respective niche quite well. Since finally discovering my (current) perfect vape (thank you, Inferno-T), my...
