The 2.0 has a stiffer draw than the first one. Thicker wire will get you more wraps at a lower ohm. I use 28 on a 3.7 volt device and 30 on a VV device.

I dont know who said the ERA was fiddly, but it is not! For the most part they all vape the same. Some or just more stout and built better than the others. As far as the A7 goes, I am not a fan of that RBA at all. Some people love it, but I can not see why or how other than they are cheaper than...

The a7 causing the short doesnt have to have a thing to do with what coil you have on it, the pos pin on the a7 could be loose causing a short. You can short out a mod with out having a coil with some RBA's.

Sure can, just make sure you get the polarity right on the magnets between the body and the door.

Wow, I wish I could vape at that voltage with that res and be happy. I would go insane doing that. But if it works it works. Enjoy your new Reo they are the best!

If the Hornet is like the ERA it shouldn't be a problem. I used my ERA on my Provari with out any issues at all.

It achieve the same end result, although it was easier to get higher voltages than it was to find an atty lower than 1.5 ohms. Now that the RBA's are so popular you can make a nice low ohm atty in about a min or so. Although using a ultra low ohm atty on a 14500 mod is going to yield very low...

I have several of the RBA's for the Reo's. I have been wanting to give the Genesis style a whirl.

Once I get back on my feet I am going to try one. I have a Chobra atty but nothing to vape it on.

Those batts should be fine. The main thing to look for while using them is to make sure that the batt doesnt compress the bottom spring all the way. Make sure that there is some space between the coils of the spring. And yes get an RBA, they are a game changer.

These look awesome, nice job AG. Always wanted to try one of the hybrids just hasn't been in the cards. They do look like a nice mod though :)
