It isn't, but I'll borrow my buddy's to check what his gets in comparison to mine sir. On cells rated for 20A that actually can deliver it usually see in between 58-68C.

Ran a test this morning at 20A just to see what my max temperature was. Room temp was 24C/75F. These cells are at 177 and 178 charges respectively- Cell one (178)- Max temp 58C/136F Cell two (177)- Max Temp 59C/138F I got my cells direct from RTD Vapor. I've had zero heat or performance issues...

I haven't tested these batteries yet due to the fact I only have one mod that can use flat top cells, so while I can do the initial tests doing the long term will be truly that (only use the mechanical at home). I know my buddy @Roccov has ordered some and is getting good results with his, but...

Sounds like it's not making contact. You can use a flat head screw driver to move the post down so where it will on the adapter itself, or use a paperclip or safety pin to pull the post up on the battery. If you were using cool carts, they have a bad habit of pushing the post down.

Jhhollier my tester only has 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, and 20a drain settings. It's why I went with 15a on the AW 18490. I have ran them to that about that limit (17.7a) on a mechanical set up with no issues. As Baditude said, AW does not put inflated claims on their batts. I've seen them out perform...

You are correct Rocco sir. Have seen 808's with a small seal tab on the air hole to prove their new and unused, which is what I figured Ms. Classwife was talking about. Haven't ordered a new 808 batt from V4L in a very long time, so assumed this was the case. Yes I made an ... of myself. :)
